I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Greenpeace Spoofs Season 6 in "Winter Is Not Coming"
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Full disclosure: My area of the planet has been very odd this week. It’s December, and it’s usually about the time when we all are bundling up in winter coats. This week, I wore shorts while walking to the local mega mart, because it was practically summertime temperatures. This, as everyone in my local social media area agreed, was not normal. More than one shared variations on the following meme:
Now, more than one thinkpiece writer has delved into the idea that
is so popular because it’s tapping into our subconscious fear of climate change. Whether or not that’s true, Greenpeace has decided to take the idea to heart. The French arm of the international group has decided to make their own trailer for the upcoming Season 6. There’s just one little problem. Winter is not coming, so…
(Translation: “A few degrees more, and it changes the whole story. Melting ice is only one of consequences of climate change that threatens our planet.”)
Personally, though it would be thoroughly anti-climactic, don’t you think Jon Snow would have been more than a little relieved to see the White Walker headed his way fall through the ice and drown at Hardhome? Certainly, it would have saved thousands of wildling lives. A downer on the drama front, but you know, the Lannisters certainly would have filled that gap, especially once they were confronted by dragons.
But still, I suppose the point is taken. Now, since they pointed out how to solve the White Walker menace, does Greenpeace have any explanations for how the show can solve the show’s problem of Brantree’s plotline being not-very cinematic by climate change?

Only 34 MORE years of climate action delay and global debate and denial is certain and unstoppable.
You remaining eager climate blame “believers” look like the last guy to ever show up to the party still wearing disco pants with a tape deck, PalmPilot and a bag phone.
*Occupy no longer even mentions CO2 in their list of demands.
But I don’t even know what a palm pilot is….I assume it’s something like an iPad? And a bag phone??? Exactly what it sounds like? A phone in a bag??
Ever hugged a tree? Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it!
I wish I could hug a tree but ya know the no arms thing.
Man-made climate change (remember when we called it global warming, until the planet started to cool?)… anyway… “Man-made climate change” is more of a useless religion than the Faith of the Seven. It’s a socialist scare tactic used as an excuse for government control over private enterprise.
The whole “we can’t risk the entire planet, we must act now” is a classic fallacy used over the years (McCarthyism, anyone?) .
I mean, according to Al Gore and others (in in late 1990s), the polar bears were supposed to have drowned by now and there was going to be no polar ice left in 2015.
Remember folks… climate changes. Has for eons. Climate– by its very definition– changes.
How predictable that this would bring the deniers out in droves. Never mind that 99 percent of the world’s climatologists say that global warming is real, perilous, caused mostly by human activities and near an irreversible tipping point. They’re just scientists. The whole thing is a scam cooked up by Al Gore. Riiiight. Tell that to your grandkids who are going to have to live with the consequences and see if they thank you.
Climate change– real. Man-made climate change– fan fiction. Not too hard to understand, is it?
I love Greenpeace (if for no other reason) for their aggressive pursuit of the Japanese whalers in the Southern Ocean (which is Australian waters). What country would still feel the need/right to whale in today’s day and age. Just sayin…..
It is literally a fact that you’re wrong. Not too hard to understand, is it?
Greenpeace, the £300 million a year propaganda outlet. Gullible left wingers still believe their nonsense.
