I myself am straight, well... asexual, but one thing that I find to be VERY annoying and something I think is getting really old is when people use the word "gay" as an insult.

Example from me and a fellow classmate:
Classmate: "Uhg, this assignment is so gay!"
Me: "That makes no sense."
Classmate: "Huh?"
Me: "Well it's a piece of paper, an inanimate object it can't have emotions. Are wewe trying to call it happy?"
Classmate: "No..."
Me: "Well it doesn't have a sexuality either, are wewe trying to call it homosexual?"
Classmate: "No, I'm calling it gay!"
Me: "That makes no sense!"
