How is it that wewe came to know and read Twilight au Harry Potter series?

When I was in 4th grade, my teacher assigned Sorcerer's Stone as a kusoma assignment.
I continued because I don't like to leave a series unfinished.
That's about it.

I read Twilight because I knew they were so difficult to get a hold of. Libraries had long waiting lists and stores always sold out within the hour.
My sister was on the waiting orodha of her school's library, so when it was finally her turn, I took advantage of the situation.

Ok let's see...

At first, I saw HP 1 and 5 (yep have skipped a couple of them lol).

Then, I watched the Twilight movie that had just come out and I had no idea of the whole saga it was and how famous it was but I liked the movie so I decided to read the Twilight books.

I read them all and then realized I didn't understand anything about HP so I decided to read the vitabu (I then realized I had skipped a couple of movies) and I then watched the HP sinema I had skipped and voilà!

Conclusion: HP is better than Twilight.

I read hp because i had seen the sinema (till GoF) and loved them, moreover many people recommended it.

I read twilight only because people kept comparing it to hp. But honestly, after kusoma it i don't see from where the comparison came. HP rulez!

I started kusoma Harry Potter because someone SS for me as a birthday present. I can't remember who -- it was either my grandmother au my best friend at the time.

My best friend (the same best friend mentioned above) was obsessed with Twilight when it first came out, and hounded me for weeks until I started kusoma it.

When I was younger my mum and dad would read me the Harry Potters after the Goblet Of moto came out in cinemas, untill i read them myself.

With Twilight, the film was on in my School Libary and i thought it looked good so i asked my mum to order the DVD and she did. i watched it and loved it. Then i asked for the vitabu for krisimasi and my birthday and read them then xx

When I was in 7th grade, my friend was kusoma Twilight. I was going through a vampire craze at the time, so I bugged her for about a week if I could borrow it. Eventually she gave in without kusoma it all the way through, and I got to read it. After that, I read the other three.

It was last mwaka when I decided to read Harry Potter. My aunt (who adored Harry Potter) gave me two of the vitabu a few years back, and with all of the hype about the last movie, I wanted to know what the heck everyone was talking about. So I read the first two, and bought the rest of them.

I read Twilight when I was in 8th grade (I was 13 and it was 2008 when the first film was coming out). I borrowed the book from a friend and read it. Took me a week au so. I didn't really like it that much. Then I saw the film (which I loved) read the book again (along with the others) and became obsessed.

I read Harry Potter because I was sick of Twilight and decided to see what it was up against. I read the first 3 when I was in te 3rd grade but got really confused with the plot. My friend was pushing me to read them (Nov. 2011, junior year).

My mom read HP to me when I was little, before I knew how to read. She stopped after the fourth one, and told me that if I wanted to finish the series I had to learn how to read. So I did!

I read twilight because all my Marafiki read it and liked it, and I liked it for a little while but quickly grew out of it.

I hated HP until my mom started working in a library. This librry had the Sorcerer's Stone video game for the PC. I played it and was hooked. I read the vitabu and got my mom onto them as well.

I've always hated Twilight. I have listened to parts of them with my friend ad seen the first two sinema twice and I have to say, I'm not impressed.

I'm not exactly sure how I came to get the Harry Potter series, cause I was really little. I guess I saw the film first (the first one I think) and I got interested. My parents explained it a bit and so I wanted the book. I'm not sure I really understood it and if I was really fanatic about it. But I grew up and reread the series and loved it.

I got the Twilight book because everyone was saying it was so good after watching the movie. I guess I liked it back then and wanted to continue the series. Even if I didn't like it though, I still had to finish the series cause it wouldn't seem right to not finish a series.

Harry Potter: I was in maktaba class in 4th grade and I saw The Chamber of Secrets (Sorcerer's Stone wasn't there) and decided to read it. I was hooked, I finished the entire series for the rest of the mwaka and some in the summer (the summer the Deathly Hallows came out). I also saw all of the moves :D

Twilight: People alisema it was good so I read it in 6th grade. The entire series. I also watched the first 3 movies. I don't really care about the others. I might watch them. Needless to say, I didn't like Twilight.

My mom is an English teacher so she constantly goes on different exchanges and conferences to the UK (actually she's leaving for Liverpool on Monday). When the Goblet of moto came out she was in London and she bought this pack of the first four parts in some WHSmith au whatever. I never even opened any of these vitabu since English is my sekunde language and I was always like "I wouldn't understand a thing". Several years later I was going on holiday with her to my uncle's. He's living in some kind of village and I thought I'd be extremely bored so I took all the four vitabu and I read all four of them during a week.

About Twilight? Well, I was in sixth grade primary school when Twilight became extremely maarufu here in Poland. All of the girls in my class spent breaks sitting on the hall floor kusoma Twilight. I borrowed the first book from one of them and later the rest as well. I own the English version but I gave up kusoma it after three chapters au so.

Well, there came a time when I was only 10 and my fave HP movie was Chamber of secrets, then last mwaka mom bought the last film Deathly Hallows P 2 and I watched it, I didn't understand anything of what happened and all that stuff, so I watched the Philosopher's stone and continued with the series until I became a movie fan, once I knew that there was zaidi info and thrills in the vitabu I asked mom if she could get me the collection, then after mom got me the collection I started kusoma them I finished the first five vitabu in EXACTLY two months, and now I'm kusoma the
sixth one...

Started kusoma Twilight thanks to American Idol host Ryan Seacrest.He talked about it on the radio back in late 2008,and it got me curious,and thanks to him I am a Twi-hard 4 ever now and proud to be.Thank you,Ryan Seacrest for turning me onto the Twilight books.

When I was in 6th grade one of my Marafiki was obsessed with Twilight and recommended it to me. I bought the first book and thought it was very interesting, and immediately afterward bought the sekunde and third. My upendo for the series dropped while I was waiting for Breaking Dawn to come out, but once I got my hands on the book (4 months after it was released) was when I actually became obsessed with the series. My obsession wouldn't last forever, though.

I saw the first 5 Harry Potter sinema at my Marafiki house during a sleepover around the same time I was getting into Twilight, and they were not what I expected at all. I was expecting this really, really dark movie about a teenager/young adult who had to practice witchcraft to beat some villain, and instead I found out that the main character was much younger than I thought, and the majority of the scenes were actually light-hearted. I enjoyed the sinema and would have been willing to watch them again, but I was still "Meh" on the series. That is, until my first week of summer vacation after 7th grade when I got a terrible ear infection and I had to be driven to the emergency room (yes, it was that bad). My mom felt so bad for me that she had checked out the first Harry Potter book from the maktaba and told me she was going to let me read them later (I wasn't allowed to read them before that point), but because I was so miserable she decided to let me read them anyway so I would feel better. One thing led to another, and I began to realize that I absolutely loved this series.

My dad was really ill (sadly he's no longer with us) and I hadn't seen him in a while due to his hospitalization. We went out for chajio, chakula cha jioni one night, I was only 6, and he asked me if I wanted to see a movie. I had never seen a movie at the cinema before so I was really excited and we picked Harry Potter and the Philosophers (Sorcerers for some) Stone. It was one of the greatest things I'd ever seen. To this siku it's one of my inayopendelewa movies, and this got me into the books. He read them to me up until his death to which my mum then continued them for me until I was old enough to read them, and re-read them, for myself.

Well, I KNEW about Harry Potter because it was so popular, but I had never watched any of the movies. Then, finally, I watched Half-Blood Prince, and I was REALLY interested in the plot. So, first, I watched all the movies, and then a friend of mine told me "You're a huge shabiki but wewe still gotta read the books! Theyre great!" . So I did :). So....yea....

I honestly don't remember when I started kusoma Harry Potter. My earliest memory of kusoma one of the vitabu was kusoma the Prisoner of Azkaban when I was nine, but I know I had read the first two vitabu before that and I had also seen the first two sinema kwa that point. So, in living memory, I've always loved the series!

I remember kusoma Twilight for the first time much better. It was in May when I was in mwaka 7, and I had gone shopping with my mum in a city a couple of hours away. I went into the young adults section of Waterstones, saw the cover and was intrigued. I had seen the trailer for the movie, and thought it looked really good, so I bought it. On the train home, I read over half of it. It was a very peaceful moment, sitting in a dim train compartment, with stars shining outside, and a new book in my hands.
