I like Carrie, Misery, The Shining (the TV mini-series was pretty cool to) But one of my absolute favs is Maximum Overdrive, this damn truck scared me!

I like The Mist because it was the closest to the short story in detail, except for the ending. One of my fav vitabu is the Tommyknockers, but the movie was absolutely horrible, they left out so much of the book. I upendo the remake of The Shining, Stephen Webber was way creepier than Nicholson.

I would say The Mist wins kwa default. In the 80's King sinema would scare me as a kid, now they are just"ugh". Oh yeah, the end of Carrie also for creating one of the original end-jump scare.
