I wrote a ten-page paper on "The History and Impact of I Love Lucy". Has anyone else used Lucy in school? I'll see if I can find it.

Once in a psychology class, we had to take a TV episode that we had just seen and analyze the characters based on it and a list of terms. I used "Lucy Builds a BBQ" and got an A; the professor loved it, and I'm sure I had as much fun writing it as she did reading it.
