Dan Reynolds – Vocals / Keys

Lead singer Dan is commonly spotted at concerts perching on monitors au screaming at the drumset. It is unclear if he is completely sane, but there can be no doubt that he was born to entertain. If you’re lucky, wewe may catch an appearance kwa Dan’s hip hop alter ego – The Human Beatbox.

Reynolds, seventh of nine children, was born on July 14, 1987 in Las Vegas to Ronald and Christene Reynolds. Both are natives of Nevada, and Dan is a 4th generation Nevadan.

While in college at BYU, Reynolds recruited Wayne Sermon to form the band. Bassist Ben McKee joined the...

Ever since I could remember,
Everything inside of me,
Just wanted to fit in (oh oh oh oh)
I was never one for pretenders,
Everything I tried to be,
Just wouldn't settle in (oh oh oh oh)

If I told wewe what I was,
Would wewe turn your back on me?
And if I seem dangerous,
Would wewe be scared?
I get the feeling just because,
Everything I touch isn't dark enough
If this problem lies in me

I'm only a man with a chamber who's got me,
I'm taking a stand to escape what's inside me.
A monster, a monster,
I've turned into a monster,
A monster, a monster,
And it keeps getting stronger.

Can I clear my conscience,
If I'm different...

Wayne Sermon, Lead Guitar

Wayne can SHRED. It may be blasphemous to detract from this biography kwa going beyond this undeniable fact. Fact: his gut-wrenching, pants-wetting solos have been known to songesha audience members to tears.

Wayne has been the lead guitarist for Imagine dragoni since 2009, and is so far the only lead guitarist the band has ever had.

Lead singer Dan, a Las Vegas native, met guitarist Wayne in 2008 in Utah, where Dan was attending school and Wayne was living after graduating from Berklee School of Music. After going through various lineups, the band was established in Las Vegas with Dan and Wayne joining Ben McKee, Andrew Tolman, and Brittany Tolman.

The band lived together in Nevada whilst they created and released their first three EP's.

I saw Imagine dragoni over three years zamani at the Velour, a dimly lit and intimate muziki hovel in downtown Provo. That stage was small, the building had a 250 person capacity and the band was one that seemed to still be finding its direction. That was not the same band I saw tonight playing for a crowd of over 8,000 in a full-blown rock onyesha at the UCCU Events Center.

I’m not talking about the changes they’ve made to their lineup. The Imagine dragoni of today are a fully realized indie rock ensemble whose shabiki base has grown exponentially since...

Looking at the lonely telegram, I crept into your room
Listen to the breathing voices of the ones around the tomb
The radio is playing, but I can't hear them sing
The people are explaining, but they don't know a thing
Give me a sign, give me a sign
I wanna die tonight

They say that London sounds like a city of red
All the prisoners wait for their turn to be dead
Oh wewe don't upendo me
You don't upendo me like wewe say wewe do

I can take a picture, wewe can be a picture
Stitched into my faded black
I can take wewe home, au wewe can be a home
We'll never look on back
The radio is playing, but I can't hear...

Ben McKee, bass.

Many mashabiki know that Ben has an inhuman ability to consume spicy substances.Everyone knows that he has a glorious collection of chest hair.Few know that Ben dropped out of the Berklee School of muziki withone semester left to jiunge the band. It’s just how he rolls.Ben is currently in outpatient rehab attempting to overcome a seriousaddiction to “Bass Face”, but we secretly hope he can’t give it up!

Ben joined the band in '08 when Dan and Wayne were searching for new members. The full lineup was established when he, Brittany Tolman and Andrew Tolman joined Dan and Wayne.

Not only is Ben the bass, besi guitarist for the group but he also performs the backing vocals.

The onyesha began with a small alternative band from Ames, Iowa-- The Envy Corps. With a utamanduni wa pop influence and a rock feel, the muziki was the perfect combination. They began with heavy bass, besi that had the mosh pit shaking. Personally, I loved their strong, sharp strums in the muziki featuring harsh notes on their guitar. I had never heard one of their songs before, but sekunde after hearing them, I was cheering. The crowd seemed to upendo them too because I caught multiple people trying to Shazam their songs. Something I thoroughly enjoyed was their similar sound to Imagine Dragons, so it was a...

How would wewe like to spend an evening with Imagine Dragons?

Were wewe like me … hoping to get tickets to see this incredible, homegrown band perform in their old stomping grounds, only to be shut down kwa a Sold Out sign? All because wewe waited just a bit too long to order your tickets.

Imagine Dragons, the latest Utah Valley band to discover international success, makes a triumphant return from their sell-out European tour to perform on May 20 at the UCCU Center in Orem.

The indie rock band formed in 2008 when lead guitarist Wayne Sermon, from American Fork, met Las Vegas native and lead singer...

It’s the stuff of dreams, Imagine Dragon’s chart-soaring 2012 LP Night Visions. Based largely on the subconscious nonsense that comes during deep sleep, the album—and singles “It’s Time” and “Radioactive,” both of which reached the juu 20 on Billboard’s Hot 100 list—struck a chord nationally and launched the Las Vegas-based band into stardom.

We wanted to chat with these skyrocketing stars, but not in the typical fashion. wewe know those silly maswali that some interviewers sneak in at the end of an interview with a band? Well, Beside the swali is a blog series at

In just three months, Las Vegas rock band Imagine dragoni has gone from making its first appearance on a Billboard chart to reaching the juu 10 on Alternative Songs (No. 10 this week) and Triple A (No. 8) with debut single "It's Time."

On the Billboard 200, the band's Continued Silence EP debuts at No. 165. Following the release of the single's video, the band was spotlighted as MTV's PUSH artist of the week beginning April 16.

The group plays the Firefly muziki Festival in Dover, Del., July 21. "There is something deeply personal and yet incredibly exciting about sharing new songs with a live audience for the first time," lead vocalist Dan Reynolds says. "We can't wait to have that communal experience."
magine dragoni -- a band that is gaining considerable visibility these days thanks its hit singles, "It's Time" and "Radioactive" -- may be a fairly new presence on the national muziki scene to many listeners, but that is not the case in Utah County.

The band got its start in Utah County when lead singer Dan Reynolds, a BYU student, joined forces with guitarist Wayne Sermon of American Fork. The group eventually relocated its nyumbani base to Las Vegas, Reynolds' nyumbani town, but has never turned its back on its Utah roots.

The band finally has been blowing up nationally, and returns to Utah County...

Yahoo!, the mammoth online portal, is in the tamasha biz now, with a new tour that played the Pageant on Wednesday night.
Yahoo! On the Road is hitting 27 cities; the twist is that each city gets a different headliner. John Legend, Kendrick Lamar, Fall Out Boy, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and the Lumineers are among the headliners in various cities. Imagine dragoni and Owl City performed at the St. Louis stop.

Imagine dragoni sold out the Pageant in March; Owl City also played the Pageant in March in a separate show, making the Yahoo! On the Road selections for St. Louis look a little unfair....

When he first started working with Imagine Dragons, muziki producer Alex da Kid was looking for some inspiration for the Broadway musical, "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark."

"I thought they would be great to help me come up with ideas for U2," the Grammy-nominated English producer said.

There was just one problem: The demos they recorded were too good.

So instead of using the alternative band to collaborate on the score kwa Bono and The Edge, Alex da Kid - the creator of Eminem and Rihanna's colossal hit "Love the Way wewe Lie" - immediately signed the Las Vegas-based foursome to his label imprint...

In its four-hear history, MTV's Musical March Madness tournament has seen no shortage of cinderella stories — Owl City's unlikely ride to the Sweet 16 in 2010, Disturbed's dream run to the Final Four in '11, F---ed Up's shocking upsets of Mumford & Sons and Radiohead last mwaka — but eventually, the clock strikes midnight, the carriage transforms back into a pumpkin, boga and the glass slipper shatters.

Daniel may be a native of Atlanta, GA, but he is rocking it with the best in LA. Also a graduate of Berklee College of Music, Daniel pounds the drums with precision and passion. Fun fact – Daniel has a Bachelor’s Degree in film scoring and holds credits on three films!

Daniel also performs the backing vocals for the band, as well as playing the viola.

Standing on-stage Thursday night at the Hollywood Palladium, Dan Reynolds of Imagine dragoni looked out at a capacity crowd and alisema with astonishment, “I don’t even know how this many people know about us.”

His bandmates had a hunch, however. That was the moment they powered up “Radioactive,” the moody electro-grunge single that tops three of Billboard’s rock charts and sits at No. 9 on the Hot 100, nestled comfortably between tunes kwa Rihanna and Bruno Mars. It’s this Las Vegas group’s sekunde big radio smash following “It’s Time,” which set a record last mwaka as the longest-running...

"It's the one thing, as artists, that we get to keep to ourselves," Imagine Dragons' front man Dan Reynolds alisema when asked the meaning of the band's name. "We were sitting down and came up with a phrase that we felt particularly connected to, but we didn't want to call it that. It just didn't flow right," Reynolds explained in an April 25 interview....
