The Deacy Amp is a small, one-watt, roughly 5 inches (12.7 cm) amplifier created kwa and named after Queen bassist John Deacon and used kwa guitarist Brian May.
It was created in the early 1970s using an amplifier circuit board found in a skip kwa Deacon and stationed into a Hi-Fi speaker cabinet, powered kwa a 9-volt battery. The amp was used along with May's Red Special guitar, gitaa and his treble-booster to produce sounds reminiscent of various orchestral instruments.
