Joshua Lee Holloway, (born July 20, 1969), in San Jose, California is an American actor and former model. He is best known for his role as James "Sawyer" Ford on the American televisheni onyesha Lost.


Early life

Holloway was born to Scottish parents in the California region now known as Silicon Valley. His family moved to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia when he was two. He is the sekunde of four brothers. Holloway's interests include boating, sailing, snowboarding, martial arts, motocross and playing the guitar. On a Channel 4 trailer that aired in the UK, he stated "I do enjoy my beer," and noted that the greatest invention of all time was "distilled alcohol", while his Lost contemporaries selected "pen and paper", "the wheel", and "the guitar". While shooting in Oahu, on April 9th, 2009, Holloway and Kumala welcomed their first child, a girl named Java Kumala Holloway.
