What's insulting about it?

I don`t get all the hatred over one spot. What is wrong with you people?! Y`all need to back off me for real.

I don't even think kathiria started this spot - I believe one of her fans started it. But even if she did, it's fully supported so long as "personal" spots get categorized within the "fanpop users" channel.

Other fans have started their own spots. We didn't originally intend for this to happen, but since folks wanted it we figured no harm.

Myra's spot is unique since it's one of the older user-specific spots and has reached that critical mass sufficient to become a fully fledged official spot (and she's a long-time member with a mount everest's worth of contributions).

I should add that the only spots that are currently prohibited are pornographic spots, hate/racist/sexist/bigoted spots, spam-oriented spots and duplicate spots (which is loosely interpreted).

Oh and anti-spots -- though we've debated that one in the past...

obviously you or the people who never add anything don`t deserve spots but myra has added over 100 000 (LITERALLY) pictures & thousands of other stuff to fanpop a.k.a. she is the most contributing user so please SHUT YOUR YAP

lila - i'm sorry but until we change the policy we'll have to remove these spots as they've generated a lot of ill will and rancor in the past and we already generate enough of that without the anti-spots...

If we reach the point where we think the community can manage anti spots we might reverse course (but we're not there today).

robbie myra is the most dedicated fanpop user so i think she deserves this. if i didnt think about it before i wouldnt have made this spot

i don't think you can exactly say "this person is the most dedicated" as everyone is dedicated in their own way and shows it, they might not post a lot but they will visit the site and that in itself is dedication or they could comment and rate things more than post.

I have just started my own obsession with Kathiria82 and I was reading down this going "Who is Myra? Is this a user that contributes as much as Kathiria82? Its not possible!! :0 " Oopsie to me for taking so long to work it out.

I don't personally join spots that are dedicated to one person, but there's no harm in it, I think it's great, so if people don't like it then go get a life, I'm sick of all the nastiness and sh**t slinging on Fanpop, it's for EVERYBODY.
