How do I come out to my family?

I am a pansexual female. I've only recently 'discovered' that I am and have only told one close friend. I thought I was bisexual before and so other Marafiki know me as bisexual. I have been thinking for a while that I want to tell my Mum and eventually the rest of my family but I'm very nervous about doing so. My family are very opinionated and I have spoken to some of them about different sexualities and they have been quite negative about them. I am open with my Marafiki but find this difficult with my family. Could wewe tell me how wewe came out and your families/friends reactions and your emotions before, during and after 'coming out'?
