Sam has been with Livewire since it's humble beginnings as an arts project for Harlow Young People and Childrens Services called 'Expressions'. Since January 2001 Sam has managed and developed Livewire (with the support of many, many, many people - Sara Coggin, John Bottomly, Pete Brown, Pete Marchant to name but a few) kwa running the workshops, directing the performances and developing Livewire into a fully functioning Charity in its own right called 'The Livewire Trust'.

The Livewire Trust (Livewire) is a community youth theatre offering young people (aged 13-25) a regular programme of free workshops where they learn and develop theatrical skills which are transferable and relevant. Livewire has now been in operation since 2000 and we have been a charity since 2004.

In our town there are no organisations that offer the services that livewire do for free. We believe that the arts should be available to everyone regardless of economic status au ability. We strive to bring young people to livewire who have had little au no contact with the arts before. Through...
