I was raised in a strictly Christian family, so I know that upendo is a thing that happens when wewe get married. And no not like, make love, to be in love.

It irritates me that my best friend always says she loves her boyfriend, because I personally think that upendo is for married couples. Also, upendo is a very serious topic. My ex-boyfriend and I discussed this at length when we were going out. I thought that I only liked him, he got mad and alisema he loved me, but I always knew that he couldn't; I mean, he had known me for two weeks. Do wewe think we throw around the word "love" too much?

Anyways, I'm here to ask wewe a few questions.
One; do wewe believe in love, at such a young age?
Two; could he have really loved me if had met me on siku 7 of the 14 days we saw each other?
Three; Do wewe think that our society today throws the word "love" around too much?

Hey, yeh you, stupid over there in the corner

You hurt me boy and im ticked

all those lies and dreams wewe had me upendo sick

but then wewe went and through me away

like i was the iPad 1 of yesterday

too bad that new chick dont like wewe back

Just for that i should do sumthin*smack*

you say were frndz, that everythings fine

but that aint how it is, wewe better stop lyin

to your mom to our frndz to those silly little creeps

boy sad thing is i still see wewe in my sleep

And now do wewe see

all the things your lies have done to me

we've had our 'talks' and 'heart-2-hearts'

but i feel like im talking to myself

A loving heart, a gentle smile,
a warm and tender touch,
We give so many things in life
but nothing means as much.

A little inspiration
when someone loses hope,
A kind word of encouragement
when they no longer seem to cope.

A simple phrase, “I upendo you”
when no one else is there,
Taking hold onto a hand
in a little heartfelt prayer.

upendo is never silent,
it has so much to say,
And it is our greatest blessing
when we give it all away.

kwa David L. Griffith

*I found this poem and thought it would be perfect for this club to read and enjoy, and what i upendo about this poem is that it's very true to how some-poeple feel about when they fall inlove so i just wanted to share that with wewe as a little side note

thanx for kusoma it
61 things girls don't know about guys
(In a Guy's Point of View)

#1. Guys hate sluts even though they have sex with them! (oh yeah..you're not "popular" if you've slept with zaidi than 5 guys..you're a HOE)

#2. "Hey, are wewe busy?" au "Are wewe doing something?" ~ two phrases guys open with to stop from stammering on the phone.

#3... Guys may be flirting around all siku but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about.

#4. Before they call, guys try to plan out a little about what they're gonna say so there aren't awkward pauses, but once he's on the phone he forgets...

Beauty gets most men attention.

A beautiful woman is a mans vulnerability, temptation, and weaknesses.

With him, this may be the cause ,he has the strong lust so he can discover the woman's temple.

A Wise man would so on know is not about the temple, but the way she is to stick with her and treat her zaidi with respect. kwa not using her the wrong way.

Beautiful Women are the most lovable of nature kwa men...but the way she acts and do reflects her character. She must stay very positive to look beautiful in her own way.. A beautiful women cannot also make a mistake with the wrong guy...but if so...he may carry it the wrong way.

But most beautiful women must learn to do better and choose the right guy...because So much quick men out their wants her for her nice, beautiful, appearance, if the man tempts so...but they will be a beautiful, smart, wise, gentlemen who can be perfect with her.

How wewe know you're in upendo is feeling that spark in the first kiss with your boyfriend. If he tells wewe he loves wewe every sekunde of the day, then he truly means it. He tells wewe that he'll make sure no one will hurt wewe and see a twinkle in his eyes, then he really cares.
If wewe found the guy that tells wewe that he thinks wewe are made for each other, than you're in luck. wewe found the one that is hard to find! The difference is he doesn't want only one thing. He loves wewe and cares about wewe way too much to ever break your heart.
upendo is the closest to magic. First kiss wewe feel like floating into the universe and stars. The hugs feel like they last forever and never ends. When he holds you, wewe feel like you're in a fairy tail.
Those of wewe who feels this way, you're made for each other. CONGRATS!
~Love is Gods greatest gift~
upendo is a complicated emotion that no one can control. It is a wilde emotion, unbound kwa the limits of time and space. Way beyond control of anyone who trys to tame it. upendo has no blueprint to its construction, and most definitely no solution when it doesn't work out. And is most certainly, not a logical emotion. That is what annoys most people about it.

And yet it is the force behind all things in life and death, but most don't see it until it gone forever au is far out of reach for anyone to grasp onto it.

Some think of upendo as a hideous, unfeeling creature, that feeds of peoples misery and...

Okay so my friend Hunter kept slapping me with his rubber sticky hand, and messed up my hair. Then Hope, (Third Grader), Suggested I liked him. As well as Mulugeta. Which is a completely false fact, because Hunter and me have had a conflict since the sekunde grade.

Oh and you've heard of Silly Bands right? Well our muziki teacher was passing them out to our class, and they were movie themed Silly Bands. Mulugeta got the bullhorn, so he pretended to be the director and kept yelling at Ben and me because he was also pretending we weren't doing our lines right. I alisema "Well wewe can get another actress, Mister!". Guess what, he picked Ben. wewe know what this means? He called Ben a girl. That's right, a girl.

So here's what I'm basically trying to point out here:

1. Everybody thinks I like Hunter.
2.Mulugeta called Ben a girl.\

So, do wewe think my class is crazy?

I upendo wewe
But i like/love him
And him
Wat do i do?
There's too many!
I feel the connection between everyone
Maybe it's not really there
I am so confused
I feel horrible
Sick to my stomach
Cuts on my wrist
I want to cry
Why are there so many?
I shed tears for each one
I don't know what to do
Some people don't like the one i love
The others want me with the one i like/love
Most people don't even know about the other guy
Why me?
Being loved is good,
But when it comes to your moyo breaking FOR loving people
It sucks a lot
I upendo you
But i like/love him
And him
wewe HAVE to read all of them and if wewe don't your going to come across with problems in your relationship for the inayofuata month!

1) Guys may be flirting around all day, but before they go to sleep they always think about the girl they truly care about

2) Guys are zaidi emotional then wewe think if they loved wewe at one point it takes them a lot longer then wewe think to let wewe go, and it hurts every sekunde that they arent with you

3) Guys go crazy over a girl's smile

4) A guy who likes wewe wants to be the only guy wewe talk to

5) Giving a guy a hanging message like "You know what uh...never mind....."...

I know how wewe feel. Empty, betrayed, and no happiness what so ever. wewe dont want to laugh, because wewe know it's not going to help, but wewe dont want to cry, because it will just make wewe feel worse.

You feel like your moyo is falling appart, but not only that, but wewe know soon your life is going to feel like its falling appart too. wewe don't think it will ever end, and no matter what this person has done to you, it feel's impossible to stop loving them.

And everyone wonders why if they have hurt wewe so much, then why do wewe still upendo them. That's the confusing part, wewe don't know why,...

All alone, I stand waiting for something, I don’t know.
Something to heal my wound, to make me pure;
My moyo throbs wildly under my chest,
As I look at the sky, feel the sun burning.
Cold, my moyo is, still!

Like a lightning from the clear sky, wewe turn up;
And I feel the warmth licking my heart.
My lips tremble with joy, for it was the first time,
Your eyes met mine!

The same eyes, blue eyes, looked into mine yesterday,
And alisema those words which I was not sure, from her lips.
‘Let’s break up!’
And, those eyes broke the contact with mine,

With enormous difficulty, came the truth, crashing...

Girls, few words bring butterflies to the stomach quite like the three beautiful words: THE FIRST KISS.

It is something so mysterious, so special and something that we wait a long time for. When it actually happens, it is often really very short. wewe want your first kiss to be special and sweet, and wewe do not want the person wewe kiss to end up with slobber all over his face (or all over yours for that matter).

Many girls have not kissed a boy at 14, 15 au 16. If wewe have not kissed anyone yet, don't worry about it. Do it when it feels right and kiss the right guy. Don't do it just because...

wewe would think that living is pretty easy. wewe wake up siku to siku and do a normal routine. Sometimes it is thrown off balance but wewe just adapt to it. We are built that way. But sometimes some people have a glitch. I'm one of those people. I worry too much about small things, i never have just one emotion running through my body, i can't tell what upendo is because whenever i think i know what it is it slaps me in the face and the hurt and leaves a scar. upendo is hard for me. I've been hurt some many times kwa love. Sometimes i think just giving up life would be much easier than suffering the way i am now. Even though people may not upendo me, i still upendo those people anyhow. I want wewe so much but i feel like wewe don't care. Sometimes it's just easier to give up and not live at all.

Nearness of the
Beloved One

Translation kwa Hyde Flippo

I think of you,
when I see the sun's shimmer
Gleaming from the sea.
I think of you,
when the moon's glimmer
Is reflected in the springs.

I see you,
when on the distant road
The dust rises,
In deep night,
when on the narrow bridge
The traveler trembles.

I hear you,
when with a dull roar
The wave surges.
In the quiet grove I often go to listen
When all is silent.

I am with you,
however far away wewe may be,
You are inayofuata to me!
The sun is setting,
soon the stars will shine upon me.
If only wewe were here!

To a guy I never wanted to fall for cuz he lives much too...

I upendo the way wewe laugh. I upendo how your eyes shine when wewe smile. I upendo the way wewe move. I upendo the way wewe get embarrassed. I upendo how wewe can make me smile no matter what mood I'm in. I upendo how wewe respect me. I upendo how wewe respect others. I upendo that you're so honest. I upendo that I can see right through you. I upendo how wewe get nervous when wewe even touch a girls hand. I upendo how wewe haven't aliyopewa up on being a gentleman like everyone else seem to. I upendo the way your hair spikes up when you're too lazy to brush it. I upendo the way wewe get mad when someone does something wrong. I love...

If I had the riches of this world, the diamond jewels they bring,
It would never compare to the value,
for me just to hear wewe sing.

If I could have the greatest artist paint a picture of lies,
It would never compare to the wonder,
of looking in your eyes.

If I could have the moon,
right at my finger tips,
it could never compare to the amazement,
of when wewe touch my lips.

If I could hold,
the softest and richest sand,
it would never compare to the gentleness
of holding your hand.

If I had the warmth of the sun,
right at my very face,
it would never compare to the warmth,
in your comforting embrace.
