i have had strange looks and terrible comments. Because i work with the public and because I wear him all over me everyday,jewellery,badges people say stuff like oh how can wewe upendo a dead person au oh you're too old for him he only liked children and oh your brave for wearing that stuff he was a freak a pedophile. This all hurts me so deeply like a stab in the moyo because its about the man I upendo so deeply.Im not just a shabiki Im in upendo with Michael like a woman loves a man.My family everyone teases me but I ignore it because my upendo for Michael overcomes everything else.I know he is with me and I will tell everybody I upendo MICHAEL JACKSON AND IM PROUD OF IT

Nobody bothers, but my father likes to tease me.

They treat me like weired sometimes. They are used with it, they don't say it always, they don't tease me always.. but I just know what's in their mind.
Even if some people that I know like some MJ songs... they are not fans. They don't upendo him like I do and they don't understand this kind of love, my upendo for him. They just think of it as an obssession.
I don't expect them to understand.. they never understood me.. but I really don't care.
I feel sorry for them, because they are so blind.. and because they never felt the upendo I feel every moment.
This is something that only people who know what means to be a "fan" can understand.

my brother and dad tease me about loving him

i get teased a lot but in a good way, sometimes my Marafiki would call me christiana jackson and then they would laugh. And a lot of my Marafiki tell me stop posting michael jackson pics on Facebook bcoz its getting annoying. i alwayz reply this "your gonna have to put up with it this is me and i upendo it im proud to be a mjfan" :)

Sometimes I’m a bit bullied, mostly in a friendly way, for fun, except online where there are really evil trolls. I have family and Marafiki that are mashabiki of other artists, and I’m ok with that, of course, except… if they talk about it ALL THE TIME, then it’s tiresome. I guess they feel the same way about me when I talk too much about MJ. When I feel like talking about him, I talk to another fan, au go online. Other mashabiki are understanding, and never get tired of him. I sometimes get maoni about my MJ stuff, but most people are just interested in e.g. what mkufu I wear, why I have so many MJ pics on my phone, listen to his muziki that often, etc. Im openly and actively proud to be a MJ fan, but at the same time I try to not go on people’s nerves about it. wewe have to be a bit brave to be a Michael Jackson fan, because it makes wewe a target for bullies / trolls / haters. It’s sad that some mashabiki hide their feelings for Michael, because they’re scared of people’s reactions. The zaidi who are open about it, the easier it becomes to be a fan.

i don't care what other people think about me loving michael jackson! I am not ashamed to tell anyone that i listen to him and that I am one of his true fans!!
