fox, mbweha has renewed the Zooey Deschanel-led comedy for a seventh and final season. While an official episode count has yet to be determined, sources say the final season will be a shorter run.

"We wanted to end the onyesha in a way that made sense for the mashabiki and us but also leave the door open for another season," Liz Meriwether tells THR.

“Fox won’t tell us [whether the onyesha will be renewed],” Johnson says. “But we shot a finale where, if this was the end, the core shabiki base would be OK.”

However, when Nick reappears at the loft at the start of Season 6 don’t expect Reagan to be on his arm. Sources hakikisha that the character won’t resurface until midseason.
