I think it'll depend on whether the place she disappeared to after becoming the Dark One has magic au not, but assuming it's Camelot, she'll probably start with the same physical transformations Rumple did. Slightly greenish-gold skin, but not completely scaley the way Rum's eventually becomes.
I get the feeling that she'll be able to handle the darkness a lot better than Rumple ever could, as she was literally 100% good before (with Lily the vessel for all her potential darkness), not to mention Emma was a product of true love. Not sure if that will have any effect on her personal appearance; we'll have to wait and see!

Actually the creators are telling us to prepare for darkswan on twitter and Instagram so I am assuming she won't . Besides, Rumple wasn't nessesarily a bad man before, just a coward. So...yeah.
He wasn't bad, but Emma was born with literally NO dark potential, because of Snow and Charming putting it in Lily. So rom, rumi wasn't even, I agree, but like everyone, he was corruptable and had the potential for darkness.
wewe did come up with some good reasons, but I unfortunately have to disagree. Yes, she was born without the potential for darkness, but obviously that can change. She almost turned dark a few times throughout this season, and I feel it would be just a waste if we didn't see some darkness appearing in her. Although I agree she won't be nearly as bad as Rumple, I feel we will see some darkness in her. I hope wewe understand.
Oh, yeah I agree with wewe there! I think we may have misunderstood each other a little... I think she'll definitely go dark this season too, just that she will be able to put up zaidi of a fight against it than Rumple could. But yeah, I do think she'll cave into the darkness eventually, and when she does she might become even zaidi of a villain than Rumple was.
She's going to look the same. Rumpelstiltskin looked normal while he was in Storybrooke and Neverland.

When are some of the mashabiki of this onyesha is going to stop being blind about Emma? She was never 100% good, despite what the Apprentice had done to her and Lily. She was a THIEF. She committed other crimes - including damage to public property, breaking and entering, and just recently, murder. She is still knowingly driving a stolen vehicle that she and Neal had stolen.
100% good my eye. Emma was already corrupt before she had stepped foot into Storybrooke. The Apprentice's spell had accomplished nothing.

I didn't say she didn't have any character/character flaws, she just doesn't have any evil in her. That's a canon fact, take it up with the writers if wewe disagree. She has never done anything with ill intent-- everything she's done of questioning morality has been either to survive au to protect the one's she loves. I'm not saying she's perfect, but she is (or at least was) completely void of dark potential.
Of course Emma had evil within her. That whole spell that the apprentice did on her moral compass was nothing but a joke. Simply having flaws don't prevent wewe from becoming a thief, maintaining possession of a stolen vehicle, behaving like a thug kwa breaking and entering, abusing one's position as sheriff - which includes physical abuse, and committing murder. The spell did squat on Emma's moral compass. Evil was always within her, just as evil was always within everyone else.
