Our One Direction boys have been far far away in America working on their album. We miss them. We want to see their faces again but we know it's very important for them to focus on their muziki right now.

X Factor couple Rebecca Ferguson and Zayn Malik - from One Direction - have ended their relationship, according to the papers.

The Sunday Mirror reports that Rebecca, who finished runner-up to Matt Cardle in the 2010 series, and Zayn, who finished third as part of the band made the decision to part company for the sake of their careers.

Despite coming third on last year's X Factor, One Direction have remained firm favourites with the teenage fanbase whose parents refused to allow them to vote for the umpteenth time during the boys' time on the hit show.

The following Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan garnered during their time on the onyesha was insane and encouraged their mentor, Simon Cowell to sign them up once the onyesha was over.

And now the fivesome have followed Cher Lloyd across the Atlantic to Los Angeles, to start work on their debut album.
