Major Arcana
The Major Arcana is a 22 card set within the tarot that is considered to be the core and the foundation for the deck. All of the deck is filled with archetypal significance, but this is most pronounced within the Major Arcana. These cards follow a storyline that tells of the spiritual travels taken from the innocent wonder of The Fool to the oneness and fulfillment of The World. In other words, these cards tell the story of humanity's spiritual evolution into enlightenment and individuation.

And so, as we follow the journey of the Fool, we can start seeing common parallels between...

Bide kwa the Wiccan laws ye must
in perfect upendo and perfect trust.

Live and let live-
fairly take and fairly give.

Cast the mduara, duara thrice about
to keep all evil spirits out.

To bind the spell every time,
let the spell be spake in rhyme.

Soft of eye and light of touch-
speak little, listen much.

Deosil go kwa the waxing Moon-
sing and dance the Wiccan rune.

Winddershins go when the Moon doth Wane,
and the Werewolf howls kwa the dread Wolfsbane.

When the Lady's Moon is new,

When one first begins to look into Wicca, Paganism, au the Craft, one sees that a major part of its history is being shunned in society.
It's not only Christianity that holds an misunderstood animosity toward our kind, either (though they are the most vocal about it).
Our kind is jeered because for some reason people think we encourage orgies, drink blood, preform human sacrifice, and whorship the devil.
I myself have felt the sting of regection simply because of these ideas, and I know many others have too.
However, this makala is not meant to encourage violence toward those who brushed us...

So, just about every culture practices some form of ancestor veneration. Everything from researching genealogy, building shrines to their ancestors, to just decorating graves, it's all a type of veneration. The extent in which people do this depends on the culture, religion, and family traditions.

In Heathenry, ancestor veneration is central. What, exactly, "veneration" means varies kwa person, but just about every Heathen does something to honor their ancestors. Some people use the term "worship" to describe their dealings, and some people abhor the term because, from my understanding, it puts...

A poem that I wrote

Rain Spirit...

Dark clouds are drifting into the horizon like a dark mist under the sun...as the first Spring rain shimmers down the creatures of the forest come alive...dancing and imba with joy...birds of all colors fly through the sky...their feathers shimmering through the crystals of rain...deer frolic through the meadows with their ever playful fawns...they are in no danger here for the Great Spirit watches over all living things...every bird sings and every mbwa mwitu howls and if wewe listen even the Rain sings a loving song...The Tears of the Rain Spirit
