Note: This is the first chapter of my new fanfiction Where I Belong. I have already thought up the plot but not every detail. There's a twist and Private finds out Skippper had been hiding something from him.

Private felt completely alone. The unruly, brisk gusts of snow grew zaidi vigorous kwa the minute. If only he had got his uncle to take him nyumbani au stayed in the H.Q. To make matters worse neither Skipper, Kowalski, au Rico knew where he was. His life long scheme would end up in tradgedy. Struggling to substain from collapsing, started picturing the time he had spent with his cherished friends. picha of all them flashed before his eyes. A tear dripped from his innonce eyes. Before he knew it he has on the ground fighting to keep consiousness. Why couldn't his Marafiki just work it out. It wasn't their fault, and Private knew it.

Two weeks ago:
It was a humid, muggy summer morning in New York City. The sun hadn't even come up and Skipper had gotten the team up for early training at four 'o' clock. They moaned and groaned which caused Skipper to obtain a outraged and crabby mood.
P: "Skippah, do we have to get up so early for training?"
S: "Well, geeh, Private! I'm sorry for trying to strengthen wewe boys' stamina!"
Skipper slapped Private.
S: "If wewe boys want to serve in this unit. I suggest wewe get used to it au get over it!"
K: "You have to admit 0400 ia little bit early for exerices."
Rico began to let out a fatigued yawn.
S: "That's it, men! Give me 50!"
P: "Not push-ups!"
S: "Yes, push-ups!"
R: "djghsuistsjbd!"
Rico mumbled to the others who were doing their push-ups.
S: "What was that, Rico? Are wewe complaining? Well, if wewe think I'm being so unfair, wewe won't mind seeing what the rest of the team thinks. Boys?"
P: "Um... kind of,"
K: "Sorry, Skipper."
S: "I see, I have to toughen wewe men up!"
K: "Skipper, we're tired!"
S: "You don't think I am?"
P: "But you're not doing any of the work!"
S: "I didn't back talk my commanding officer!"
R: "Neither did Kowalski au I!"
S: "Fine, go back and sleep! I don't care if you're in shape, anymore!"
They moped into the H.Q. while Skipper stormed into it. While getting coffee, Skipper noticed his team watching TV.
S: "Wait, I thought wewe boys are too tired!"
P: "To train, but we can't fall back asleep."
S: "Maybe, wewe all wouldn't be so tired if wewe didn't stay up so late, Kowalski."
K: "I didn't know we were training so early, Skipper."
P: "Can't we have a siku off of training, Skippah?"
S: "Negative, not today. It's my job to keep wewe soldiers fit and capable of fighting skills."
Kowalski whispered to Private, but Skipper over heard.
K: "To keep us fit you'd have to be fit yourself!"
S: "I heard that, Kowalski, also I know that wewe wouldn't be without me."
Kowalski was about to speak his mind but stopped himself.
S: "What were wewe going to say, Kowalski?"
K: "Nothing,"
S: "Oh, really? wewe weren't about to say wewe didn't need me?"
Kowalski held his head low.
S: "Well?!"
K: "You're right."
S: "Well, I don't need wewe au any of you! I'm better off alone!"
P: "Skippah, please!"
S: "No, Private! You're better off without me, too. I'm sorry..."

Private forgot what Skipper had alisema inayofuata because it was incomprehensive to him. He had no clue that it would come to his mind later and make sense.

Skipper packed up his posessions, and headed out silently. Private thought about the way he had left that evening all night.
P: "I miss Skippah, Kowalski."
K: "What am I supposed to do about that, Private? There's no getting him back. It's your fault!"
Private began to cry. Kowalski hugged the tiny penguin.
K: "I'm sorry, Private! I'm just frustrated."
P: "Do wewe miss him, too?"
Kowalski sighed.
K: "No,"
R: "shfahfga dfhsjg sdgfutgus dsakgfu stgiufd."
K: "Maybe, we should go our seperate ways."
P: "No!"
K: "I'm sorry, Private."
Later that night, after they all had packed up, Private snuck out with his bags when no one was looking.

Private felt a missing part of him come out again. Like an old wound that had been cut into again, but denser. When Private was a chick his father had left and his mother fell in upendo with another penguin. He made it his goal to meet his real father and get to know him.

Two weeks later:
Private felt his body shutting down. This was his last chance.
P: "Help! Somebody, help! Help!"
The weather got worse and Private's eyes were half open. A stubby figure stepped forward, but was hard to make out.

Monique was looking out the window with a sign of sorrow on her face. It has been at least 3 years since she left New York to fulfill her dream in California to sing, but it felt like longer. She was a bit homesick, but she mostly missed Kowalski. Sure they talk on the phone from time to time when they're both free, but it's not the same. She looked up at the stars, wondering what would be the right thing to do.
Just then, her phone was ringing. Kowalski was calling and she managed to answer.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Monique. It's me."
"I know it's you, Kowalski. How was your day?"
"Let's see, malfunctioning...

She woke slowly, she realized she was somewhere inside, she couldn’t feel the cold winter crisp on her cheeks. It was warmer here. At least she was warm until ice cold water landed in her face. She shook her head and spat out water, then realized she was tied to a chair. When her vision cleared, she saw Skipper standing there, pointing a water gun at her, a bucket full of ice water a few feet away. He spoke with fierce anger to his voice. “Where are my men?”

“Like I’d tell you.” She replied with a straight face, she had a thick British...

For the inayofuata nine days, Skipper wasn't himself. All day, every day, he mobed in the rocking chair. He would stare out the window. Sometimes he'd watch the sky. Others he would groggily daze out at the woods, au fix his eyes on the tame flow of the lake.
The once great leader would find himself waking up those days after noon. Losing one of his men, was practically losing, not a battle, but a war. Very surge of confidence from his body had seemed to be demolished.
It had come to the point where Rico and Private went to do things without him. They begged Skipper to get and do something, but it...

1352 Hours

Amanda was in her bathroom in her and her husband’s London apartment. She was pacing back and forth. She was nervous, not knowing what to expect. She looked at her watch again. The 15 dakika were up. She picked it up and examined it. She beamed and began crying tears of joy. She couldn’t wait to tell Hans. He was stationed in Denmark at the moment but was scheduled to be back tomorrow afternoon.

siku 3
First thing in the morning, Skipper got the team up, to look into the discovery Kowalski made. None of them stopped until all the vitabu were scattered on the floor. It had to have been impossible.
There was no possible trace of evidence. The room wasn't there, even. It was like it had just vanished.
"Sorry, Kowalski, but it's like there's no way this happened." Skipper said.
"I know, but wewe have to believe me! I saw it. I saw them!" Kowalski exclaimed.
"We do, Kowalski, it's just that this place makes it extremely hard." Private reassured Kowalski.
"Thanks, but I'm not sure if I even believe...

Dumb Kowalski's conversation with Skipper

Kowalski:  Hi, I'm a penguin.

Skipper: Okay.

Kowalski: Are wewe a penguin?

Skipper: Yes.

Kowalski: Yay! We're sisters!

Skipper: We'd better go outside. It's almost feeding time.

Kowalski: I like feeding things!

Skipper: We are the ones that get fed.

Kowalski: I hate feeding time. Why can't we feed ourselves?

Skipper: wewe can.

Kowalski: Yay! I upendo lemurs!

Skipper: Fine. *goes up the ladder*

Kowalski: No, Skipper, don't leave me here alone, with all the monsters! *clings onto Skipper's foot like a toddler*

Skipper: Then wewe can come out with us.

Kowalski: Hooray for fish!

Skipper: *sigh*

The inayofuata Day...

It was now time to get the plane down. Rico hacked up some knives & the penguins were carefully slicing the vines that were holding the plane in the tree. "OK! This bird's about to fall! Everyone stand back & prepare yourselves!" Skipper announced to the crowd of lemurs down below. Julien, on the ground, alisema to Maurice, "What bird? I see no bird..." Suddenly, with a lurch, the plane fell.

It wasn't as bad as was predicted. Once it hit the platform, it bounced once, & landed with a thud. The lemurs then began cheering. The penguins leaped down from out of the trees...

I clenched my eyes shut as the sting nipped my back. I tried to stop a cry of pain from escaping my beak but it broke free, echoing in the large room. I heard the slicing whack again and the sensation of lightning shooting through me made me yowl in agony, sweat poured down my face. I looked over my shoulder at Blowhole, a pleading expression on my face, "Blowhole, this is unnecessary! If wewe want revenge kill me!" Blowhole chuckled. The lashings stopped. The purr of his segway neared me, "Alexander, this IS revenge. What better way to enjoy it, than to watch wewe suffer?" He lifted the whip...

The camp was really a nice place, if didn't mind the gun-powder scent, which I eventully got used to. Leeland showed me around, going from tent to tent. In less than five dakika the whole camp knew me. I realized how dangerous that was. If my mother was to come here looking for me, anyone could give me away and the gig would be up. This wasn't hatchling's play. This was real. We came to the last tent, Leeland's tent. "Oh, Alexander," Leeland began suddenly, looking at me over his shoulder, "There's someone I want wewe to meet." He dissapeared into the tent. I could hear voices and the sound...
