How would wewe feel if wewe saw this and it was your school?

I woke up this morning and read this in the Daily Item:

SUNBURY — Facing a $3.8 million budget shortfall, the Shikellamy school district is considering shuttering two schools.

School directors Tuesday night voted 8-0 to tangaza a March 29 public hearing to discuss the possibility of closing Sunbury Middle and C.W. mchele Elementary schools to cut the deficit kwa about $1 million a year.

District Superintendant Robin Musto alisema the idea may be the only way to make ends meet.

“Because of the $3.8 million is the best answer I have,” Musto alisema of the possible closings. “It doesn’t mean we are going to do it, but we are keeping our options open.”

About 450 children attend Sunbury Middle and C.W. Rice, and if the two closed, students would be sent to various schools within the district.

Shikellamy joins the Mifflinburg and Selinsgrove school districts in relocating students to address economic realities.

Mifflinburg administrators last mwezi proposed closing Laurelton Elementary, a decision based on facility needs, dropping school enrollment, increased operating costs and a likely decrease in government funding.

If the school were to continue operating, renovations would cost about $1.95 million, based on a 2009 feasibility study.

Laurelton’s enrollment is 55 students in grades kindergarten through third, the lowest of the three outlying elementary schools in the Mifflinburg district. Buffalo Crossroads Elementary has 66 students, and New Berlin Elementary has 79.

“The decision to close a school is never an easy one,” Mifflinburg Superintendent Dan Lichtel alisema last month.

Administrators in Selinsgrove, which is facing a deficit between $1.5 million and $3 million, last week announced they are considering staff cuts and moving sixth-graders to the intermediate school and

To be honest, if it were me, I'm not sure I'd actually care. I could see if I could get into my best friend's school, I could have a fresh new start before I choose my GCSE options. I don't particularly like my school, I hate the people in it.

That doesn't mean to say I don't feel for wewe and everyone else in this position though. I can see why a lot of people would think that this sucks, and are worried about the situation. This could muck up so many people's education, and it's a great shame that wewe can't do anything about it. I'm sure it will be alright though, and that everything will work out for the best.

Something similar happened to one of the middle schools over here. A lot of buildings here are built on fault lines, so all the foundations are slowly crumbling. One of the middle schools was the first to go, so they mgawanyiko, baidisha up all the students amongst all the high schools.
it put everybody at an inconvenience. The high schools were overcrowded becuase we had to gove them all of our portables. They had to add several extra portables on the parking lots, so traffic was a disaster. The cafeteria was already messed up kwa the time we went to lunch and they sometimes ran out of food.

I wasn't one of the middle school students it happened to, but they got used to it in time.
