I don't mind mashabiki au heshima (I upendo them), but I don't beg for them from others. I've seen it done where people say "Fan me and I'll shabiki wewe back!!!!!" I find it rather shallow. If people want to shabiki me au give me props, then they will. I don't force them to, nor do I want to be forced into fanning au giving heshima to others just because.

For me personally, I like medals. It makes me feel good that I can contribute to a certain club and earn something for what I provide.
