Is the book "The Outsiders" good?

I have to read it in school and I'm wondering if it's good and is it hard as in advanced vocabulary because I'm only in the seventh grade.

Advanced vocabulary? o_0 Only the stuff wewe should know kwa now. (I have quite a variety of words stored in my brain, and my class hardly knows any of them. Ugh.)
