Socially Akward?

Okay, this guy at my school (he's VERY annoying, btw) told me I'm "socially akward" because I woulnd't talk to him and "only talk to my friends". Well, I believe that I am slightly avoidant and sometimes when I talk to people I wonder if I'm boring them too much au whatever. I don't have trouble meeting new people, I find it really fun :D
I looked up socially akward as well and it seems kinda mean to me that he'd say that considering he doesn't even know me...I'd just to like to know your opinions.
