I'm a girl and I don't understand. I'm the worst advice giver when it comes to hair and makeup and looks and what not. Take anyone else's advice other than mine DX

When I got layers I actually think it got less straight. Don't ask me how, I'm just guessing. & when wewe get layers it's harder to put your hair in a braid au a really neat bun. So if wewe want layers, just make sure that's what wewe really want

Actually that depends on your hair type for starters.
My hair is naturally wavy so whenever my hair is layered i always get kinks in mine and still need to use straighteners.
If your hair is curly then wewe will definitely still have to straighten your hair to allow the layers to onyesha up.
And if wewe have hair that although straightens easily but every time wewe wake up in the morning it looks as though you've gone through a hedge backwards (i always wake up looking like that XD) then just washing it au brushing it will help it to stay into layers zaidi easily.
Blow-drying with a hair-dryer (especially on a cool setting) will allow your hair to be zaidi manageable whatever the condition and will straighten easier and zaidi effectively.
