Why can't people spell anymore?

Aliens.

I think it's two things:
1. People not caring about grammar.
2. Text talk.
I have a feeling that these will be the demise of our society... watch, in 20 years, nobody will know of 'you're'/ 'your', 'two'/'to/'too', au anything of that sort. Evrythn wil B splld lyk dis.

i find that when i'm on fnpop my keyboard goes slower than what i'm actually typing so sometimes it misses a couple of letters. and im not just saying that to cover up a few spelling mistakes.

wewe shouldn't have done that.

Anymore can sometimes be a dearly difficult word to spell. For instance, some people think there is a space:

Any more.

And others fancy that there be an 'i' instead of a 'y':

Animore.

Some may see the 'm' upside down and add an 'h':

Anywhore

But it is clearly spelt 'Anymore.' and that is the dearest way to spell it!

Because I understand that it can be difficult. I have to triple-check my posts before I submit them, and sometimes I still find mistakes. Lots of people don't have auto spell-check too, like me. So unlike prob. most of the people here on the site, I have to check my spelling all kwa myself. It can be a chore. Spelling and grammar still doesn't bother me much though. And there are lots of young people here on the site, and especially if you're one of them, I don't think wewe have to act so mature. There will be tme enough for that. ;-)

Because not all of them could talk English! There are people from different countries that talks different language! and there's those people that are like "talkin' like dis allthe timee" it's annoying!

Pfft, this is the Internet wewe don't really expect everyone to have the perfect spelling? And besides NOT everyone on this site their mother language is English.

Well, not everybody here knows how to speak English perfectly. Also some people might simply not consider grammar and spelling important online. Personally, when I first started using the Internet, I used to misspel words (use "u" instead of "you" etc) because so many people were doing it. I guess I thought it was cool :P But I wasn't even 13 years old.

I don't know, "anymore" seems like a pretty easy word to spell in my opinion.

Because people have gotten too lazy to spell now a days & don't even care how they spell anymore.

i believe that ppl use that 2 write faster, have u tried to tell a story ???, u waste all the siku just to write a few paragraphs (i know u may b thinking i write fast, im used to use the computer, but anyway, its slower than when u talk), if u write incorrectly n ppl understand u than theres no problem on doin it, anyway its just a way of expresion ppl just do it because its informal almost everything here. Its internet, we r at a shabiki page.
If it bothers u just dont do it, but i think thats the reason y. And sometimes those grammar errors that u find may b just a mistake while writing.

The spell wrong because all these young children trying to make friend and all these old stalkers trying to online rape children all think that the teens of today use slang terms like "ppl" and "plz" and "gtg". But really there are all of people who really do spell everything out. And then there is Trolls purposely spell stuff wrong and use slang terms just to piss people off. And then the grammar nazis. People who use slang terms are confused kwa them because they think everyone on the internet uses sang terms but then the grammar nazis attack them over the confusion.
I think everyone should just spell right and life would be shnazzy.
