Public middle school is basically the worst thing ever (closely followed kwa public high school), but wewe have to go. Like wewe alisema it's majorly important for socialization as hormones are kicking in and shit.

And I mean, I was never bullied au anything so I can't attest to middle school 'toughening wewe up' in that regard, but I am queer and middle school is when that started manifesting itself, and school's good for socially exploring who wewe are and making the kinds of Marafiki wewe want to hold on to. For as shit as middle school is, there are good laughs and memories and Marafiki wewe don't wanna miss out on.

And I know a couple kids who have been homeschooled through middle school but then came to public high school, and they're weird. Like, they were never properly socialized so they're nice and all but they're awkward and are ill-equipped to deal with certain social situations. The fact that they were homeschooled could seriously impair their futures because of those lacking social skills.

So go.

I know that feeling. I have been attending online school for the end of 8th grade to 10th grade. I've already missed the first 2 years of high school and I feel like I just wasted those years of being a teenager kwa doing nothing but staying at nyumbani on the internet.
I'm going to be in 11th grade this mwaka and I plan to go to a public school since I only have 2 years left of being a kid. (And I want to have a life and Marafiki again).

I think wewe should attend public school. wewe might regret it if wewe don't. And I know kids in public school can be crazy and there will always be someone who doesn't like you, but wewe need to learn to not mind them and just enjoy being young, before wewe regret it.

I did online school for two years. I started going to public school this year. It was a great decision for me. I've made zaidi Marafiki than i've ever had before and am taking really fun, challenging classes.
But i am a junior in high school who turned to online schooling after being bullied relentlessly since starting school. I think school is downright awful until maybe high school. If i were you, i would try public schooling for a while, and if wewe don't like it, transfer back to online schooling.
