I need some reassurance....

My sister's dad is.... to put quite simply, an ass. He calls my twin brother and I crazy, he constantly says things to my mom, makes her and me cry and even says some of the most horrible things like,"You had (my brother and I) on a one night stand." Which isn't even true.
But he's strted lying and getting into zaidi fights just so he can have my baby sister to himself, especially after my brother went to the hospital two times for hurting himself.
In actuality, I'm 11. I try to stay stable, but this guy is starting to become too much. I can't change people, but only myself, so what can I do to help myself when he starts up again?

It sounds as if the individual who needs to hold their head high and be strong is your mother. There is absolutely no reason for her to be tolerating this sort of verbal . . . garbage. And less reason for her to be subjecting her children to it.

That said, wewe are absolutely right. It sounds like he is an ass. Anyone who will constantly say something just to make any other individual cry is unworthy of your tears.

He probably can't stand wewe guys.
Nobody is obligated to like everyone.
He seems to want his daughter back? I can't really follow this story to be completely honest.
Its likely too much trouble to get him to like wewe guys. I would avoid him as much as I can. Try not to react au respond to him unless he does something that endangers your life au your brother. It all depends on the situation though. wewe might need an adult to intervene. It might not be a situation where wewe and your brother can handle it.
