He didn't bring the drought, the drought comes every mwaka as it does in the real world. That is why the simba, simba wa kike says they need to move, many animals, including lions often travel great distances to find fresh water and chakula in other regions when there's have been used up.
if its an actual question, then, well, i have no idea, other then the fact that he basically through his brother off the cliff and phyisically abused the women of the pride.
