Should polygamy be legal? Why au why not?

I have absolutely no problem with it at a personal level. I mean, I probably wouldn't really go for it myself - I mean I can't get even one girlfriend, let alone multiple. Lmao.

On the other hand, I feel like a lot of western countries wouldn't be ready for something like that, especially since we're not really used to it, so it could create a lot of problems, including cheating and violence, which I feel would be the worst.

I mean, it really only has the benefit of having zaidi than one wife, so I don't see it as being worth the potential for domestic violence through jealousy and the fact that people already cheat on their partners, so even with multiple women/men involved, it seems like that would only get worse through sheer numbers.

But yeah, that's just my perspective. If people could do it maturely and with respect, then it would likely be fine (it's just that a lot of people don't seem to have either of those two virtues, so yeah...).

Can't see why not. These can be done poorly, au they can be done well, just like any marriage. There's no reason why it's better au worse. Some people like monogamous relationships. Some want to be in a relationship with multiple other people and want to make long term commitments to all of them. Some don't want to be in a relationship. I don't see why any of these are harmful to me.


Personally, I'm not a shabiki of it, but who am I to tell people what to do with their upendo lives. My point is who are we to restrict people from marrying who they wish. I mean if someone truly loves zaidi than one person and each of the lovers is aware, then what's the problem. 

There are such things as healthy polyamorous relationships. It's not impossible to fall in upendo with zaidi than one person, and as long as it's a trusting aware consensual thing for everyone involved, I'm not against it.

I am fine with it. Let people fuck whomever they want provided they aren't bothering people with their lifestyle. I am all about free loving when it isn't used in a negative manner.
