The knowledge that humans can do better and implement an economy that serves the people, rather than the other way around. And when I say "economy" I simply mean the way that goods / services are produced, exchanged and distributed. We have enough for everyone - the problem right now is distribution, not production.

I want to leave the world a better place than I found it, and part of that is doing my small part in making it zaidi pleasant and zaidi equitable. inaonyesha kindness not just to my own Marafiki and family, but the fellow humans I will never know the name of but whose lives are worth just as much. People separated kwa distance but not humanity, people with different religions and languages and customs, people who will be born decades from now. I want them to lead fulfilling lives with less exploitation, greater expression, and zaidi time to do the things that make us fully human.
That knowledge of how to do this gives me purpose, meaning and ultimately happiness.
