i have the samee exact problem! i liked this kid, i went out with him for 4 months, then i didnt really like him anymore, so i brokeup with him. then i see himm every week cause we go to the same church. and it seems llikee were going out again but were not. he only huggs me, so it makes me feel like i like him, but im not sure if i do. and same i have other crushes. which makes me think that hes not for you. becuase if u keep getting back together and breaking up then that jsut breaks ur heart. ive asked my Marafiki the same swali that u asked meh, and they alisema that u should jsut stay Marafiki withh himm. and i agree. so i think that u should stay Marafiki withh himm. and see if ur crushes llikkee u! hope that makess sense!

like we're still Marafiki and all, our relationship didn't ruin anything (in fact we made that pact when we first went out) but I like him on/off, so it sucks

OK 1. Get a new friend who's not complettly shallow. 2. Confront your bf and ask him flat out if he does like your friend and if you're not comfortable with him liking her au flirting with her zaidi than you, then break it off. It's most likely for the best.
