Within Elsbet's mind, Snape stands on the sidewalk outside a huge square building. He looks to the right of him, then to the left, then straight up. The streets are empty, the sky is clear and there is no breeze. He waits until he sees the single black bird fly overhead, then steps up to the smooth façade.
