Hi Everyone! Most of wewe may know that Stan's birthday is on October 19. However, everyone (Except Maybe Trey and Matt) most likely doesn't know is birth year. Of course this is not official, but this is based of research I've done on the franchise itself. So if wewe have any opinions please feel free to argue. I will listen.
As of "You have 0 Friends" it shows at about 10:28 that Stan was born in October 19 2001. As much as this may seem like it sounds accurate, I say it isn't enough.
In the episode "God God Go" Cartman is awaiting the Nintendo Wii which came out in November 19 2006. That would make Stan 5 years old if this were true. In fact, Stan turns 9 three seasons later in the episode "Whale Whores". And so the characters were MOST LIKELY 8 years old at the time.
The way I know Stan turned 9 instead of any other age in the episode "Whale Whores" is because two seasons later he turns 10.
If I were to take Stan's current age in the episode "Go God Go" and Match that of the Nintendo Wii's release date, That makes Stan's real mwaka of birth around 1998.
HOWEVER!!!!!!!!
In the episode "White People Renovating Houses" the boys are seen playing with amazon Alexa, something that wasn't released until November 2014. Taking my assumption of 1998 and adding 10 years (Stan's current age) would make 2008 which is a 6 mwaka difference. Now to take the mwaka in "You got 0 friends" which was 2001 and add 10, which is still 3 years behind. Closer, but not enough.
Meaning that Stan's mwaka of birth CAN'T be 1998, au 2001.
With the knowledge of not knowing Stan's age In the episode "Go God Go" and matching it up with the knowledge of the release dates of the two consoles, doesn't add up.
On the other hand, South Park is known to follow current events, and thus it doesn't always mean the characters age is altered. So concluding Stan's actual birth mwaka is hard as fuck.
So if wewe want to go based of the onyesha Stan's birth mwaka is 2001.
If wewe want to go based of my research, then Stan's birth mwaka is PROBABLY 1998. Which is reasonable since the onyesha was aired in 1997, which is close to 1998.
So in other words, please help me research this. I'm not the guy to just follow what the onyesha tells me, but to use my knowledge of items in the South Park universe to determine actual dates.
However, that type of knowledge can't be backed up if the shows creators just follow current events and screw up the timelines.
