Annabeth POV

I picked the joker.

I picked a slip.

I read the slip.

The slip said: “You must kiss every person of the opposite sex in the room.”

All the was good and just in me died.

Thalia eventually had to read it out loud for me.

I’m not sure, but I think everyone else died, too.

After a very long pause, Thalia commented: “Well, at least I didn’t pick it. I’m related to half the guys here.”

More silence.

“I don’t think anyone will say that you have to kiss them on the lips.” Piper noted.

“Well……..” Leo said.

“No. Just no.” that was Hazel.

“Okay, let me just make this easier,” Travis said. Jokingly, he got down on one knee, took my hand in his, said “My league,” and kissed it. Then I slapped him-- but not that hard because I was laughing.

Thaila POV

This was probably the most entertaining thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life.

Annabeth somehow twisted the forfeit around made “you must kiss everyone of the opposite sex” to “everyone of the opposite sex must kiss you”, and on the hand.

So basically we were pretending that she was a duchess of some sort and they were just suitors. It was freaking awesome.

Last in the line of “suitors” was Percy- who looked like he either was going to bounce of a wall or be sick. It was an interesting combination. His expression was rather disturbing.

When Percy came in front of Annabeth, she crossed her arms and glared at him.

“This cannot count. He made the forfeits himself this cannot count.”

“Well, he is of the opposite sex,” Piper said.

“Are you sure?” I asked. Percy whirled around and “slapped” me. I dodged it. Even if I hadn’t, it would have been pathetic.

Then he turned and faced Annabeth. Neither of them really moved, like a stale mate. The room gradually got quieter, as we took interest in what was going on.

It seemed angry, yes-- but also fragile. And timid. And in its own way, beautiful. And now I’m being a freakin poet CURSES!

Suddenly, I felt a slight breeze behind my back, like it might be person, or it might just be a draft. But I didn’t turn around; for fear I would miss… whatever was going to happen.

Apparently everyone else wasn’t as interested. Everyone turned around at around the same time, and my only explanation for it was that everyone felt the same draft I did.

As if he had been waiting for that, Percy grabbed Annabeth and pulled her towards him. He kissed her, not her hand, her lips.

After five seconds he released her. Annabeth looked miffed. But not like she’d kill him.

Everyone faced them again. Hahahaha you missed everything >:)

Annabeth was blinking ridiculously fast. Percy looked so nervous it was like he was going to explode.

Then the corner of her mouth went up. Then she sort of laughed, but not really, like a small huff but not much else.

“You idiot. You freaking idiot.”

Then she grabbed him, pulled him towards her, and kissed him.

Wow wasn't expecting that! I tought there would be more of a build up to it. But I still loved it! Sugarpalstar please wright as fast as possible ( like lightning fast)
