So I am uandishi a novel based on Wars of the roses where a young girl falls in upendo with a serving boy. Now I want to connect the past with the present so which do wewe think?
World war one (Maybe two I dont really care!)

WW2 however had Hitler, Holocaust, Mussolini, Tojo, Stalin, oppression, new technological advances for war, atomic bombs, it was pretty dang freaky! I think if wewe add those details in your story it could totally work. Plus, I upendo love/survival stories that take place during that time period. It's so romantic, sweet, and sad. It combines all of the badness in the world during that time along with a small piece of hope. I think wewe should do a World War II setting.
