Today, a new interview with Rob from Cannes, France was released. It's only a couple dakika long with Rob talking about New Moon, but, something Rob alisema really stuck with me.
Before I talk about the interview, I would like to make something clear. And I will keep it brief. Alot of people think that New Moon is Jacob's book. But it's not. It's still Bella's book. She tells the story. We experience everything through her words. Jacob happens to be in the story more, and we get to know zaidi about the werewolves, but other than that, Bella is the main character. Edward is still present, not physically, but mentally. Everything reminds Bella of him. Therefore, everything in New Moon revolves around him and Bella trying to survive without him. Now, end of my little rant and moving on to what Rob alisema in his interview.
During Rob's short interview, around 1:18, he talks about the filming and how he was zaidi relaxed. He also said, "Mainly, I think I'm a supporting role in it [New Moon]. I felt pretty relaxed all the time. I really didn't have to hold it. Not that I had to last time. Kristen essentially holds the movie."
Kristen essentially holds the movie. He gets that Bella is the main character. Some of us forget that it's her story. We're caught up in her world and what's going on, but we forget that we're experiencing it through her. And I'm glad that Rob gets the fact that Edward is supporting character, not only in New Moon, but the other vitabu as well. Even though Edward is an awesome and unique character, it's true. He's a supporting character, just like Alice and Jacob.

DRESSING EDWARD
In order to dress Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) in a manner befitting the teen idol that mwandishi Stephenie Meyer envisioned, Chuck says she turned to the royals of the early 19th century: ''His name personifies his look, which to me was English Edwardian. He's the embodiment of an Edwardian gentleman — very proper, has manners, and is very charming.'' The vampire's clothes weren't all inspired kwa history, though. As Chuck points out, ''He wears a pair of shoes that are lace-up and of the early 1900s, but then he also wears zaidi current sporty clothes.''
