why do wewe guys hate kaname????????

It's zaidi like I think he's a bad person, he manipulates people all the time, he enjoys others pain (sadistic little..), and well, he's basically the reason Zero's suffering atm (because Kaname turned Yuuki into a vampire rather then him actually hurting Zero). He just don't seem to care about anyone else then Yuuki, and that's great and all if wewe like that pairing, but it's getting to the point where it's just irritating and disgusting..
I liked him in the first few chapters, now not so much.. to put it nicely..

Because I he a selfserving suit. I liked him to begin with but as the story progresses he's completely selfish. Look at how much pain he puts Zero through, blatantly knowing how he likes yuki, and flaunts her around like a prize. Not to mention how Ruka, is willing to give up happiness completely because she loves Kaname! Poor Ruka. She is too good for Kaname, and kaname needs to reveal something that makes Yuuki kill him so she can get with Zero...or at least brain wash him so he's with Ruka instead.

because he lies, steals, cheats, kills. hes a terrible , id say human but he aint.he is just deceptive and untrustworthy, zero and yuki r so much better suited for each other and if it wasnt for zero yuki would be dead, he makes the story wot it is

Hate is such a strong word... but yeah, I don't like him. He's mean to everybody but Yuki, I mean, if wewe read the first chapter in the manga, he slit Aido's cheek to get blood. Hit Aido again further into the manga, hates Zero's guts because Zero likes Yuki as well, and is just in ignorant jerk wad who wants to marry his own sister, which I find disgusting. He's just nasty, kay? Nasty!

i support both KANAME AND ZERO. from the very begining i wunted yuki to end up with kaname :)yuki had admit in the anime tht she loves kaname.

Kaname is evil and is very selfish. he makes yuki weak.

i really dont get it why are some quarelling about that. vampire knight is a wonderful story but why some are taking the story deeply? each of the characters in that anime has its own role that making the story exciting i upendo both kaname and zero because without them vampire knight is nothing

well I don't hate Kaname to that extent...I just don't favour him that much~ cuz from the first few episodes + manga...I'm getting the vibe that Kaname acts like the 'villian' of the story.

to get close to Yuki right?? in the anime/manga he even alisema he kept Zero's life (he could've killed him) just so he could still stay kwa Yuki side to watch out for her. He said, 'Zero's the only one who wouldn't harm Yuki' something like that...On added fact, he acts too girly and speaks soft....he's just not my cup of tea. xDD

Zero is so much better, he is caring for Yuki, for 4 years, he kept his vampire secret from her just so she doesn't worry about him and he's manly hot with this gun~~ <333

kwa looking at how Yuki 'adores' him...it's just annoying, scary... he only alisema a simple sentence to make Yuki blush...i mean that's not true upendo yuki is to him....it's zaidi like Yuki is ATTRACTED to him, mainly because he's a vampire of the vampire the purebloods...just like how the other siku class girls are ATTRACTED to the night class boys~ get it?

If compare to Zero, Yuki actually acts on HER OWN to HELP him when he's in trouble, like saying 'I'll always be kwa your side...",letting him suck her blood etcc..now I think that's true upendo feelings developing~ ^__^

i dont get why people hate kaname because when i read the vampire knight series youd realize that kaname is kind of like edward in twilight. he wants to protect yuki and would do anything for her. it may seem that hes selfish au whatever shit u guess say about him but hes actullay a really nice guy and im not saying that he is perfect.

p.s where did all these people get kaname being mean selfish and bad for yuki? i think that kaname is better for yuki because zero cant controll himself when hes around yuki and plus he already alisema he was going to kill all pure-bloods. oh and i like both zero and kaname.

i don't hate kaname, but i don't like him alot either, people say that he took yuki away from zero cuz he turnt her into a vampire, but she needed to be one otherwise something would happen to her getting eaten inside from her fangs cuz of that guy with the weird eyes(i think)and she was already a vampire anyway, but in the manga where the anime finished off kaname is a jerk thats why i don't like him much, but it's what yuki went with and that was kaname so.. and zero and yuki could never be together since she's a pureblood and zero hates them.. but i did think zero was the right one for her.

I guess that some mashabiki hate him for the simple reason that he stands in the way of their favourite pairing, Zeki. That'd be especially true about halfway through the manga when it looks like Yume has won.

Maybe others just really like Zero so they hate the character their favourite character hates.

Another reason could be disliking how Kaname generally treats Zero. Throughout the first half of the manga, he used Zero and his emotions towards Yuuki, his desire to avenge his family etc. Later on it's claimed that he'd deliberately freed Shizuka in order to have Zero turned (but I can't believe that's true, he'd have had to foresee too many things he couldn't control which could have turned out differently)

I didn't hate kaname in the first few episodes until he started uigizaji all selfish and only caring about himself and yuki and then he put zero though all that suffering I think the guy is an ignorant son of a B****.

I think it's because many people ship Zero x Yuuki and looks at Kaname as the person who comes in the way for their relationship. I don't hate Kaname but I don't like him either. I ship Zero x Yuuki myself. I think Kaname is portrayed as 'the bad guy' too, because of how he enjoys others pain and how he treats other people's kindness towards him. Take an example when he got chocolates from the fangirls in episode 2(?) and gave all the chocolates to that girl except Yuuki's.
That is what I think, it's not necessary true and everyone has their reasons for hating characters, but this is what I believe is the main reasons.

I wouldn't say I hate him (not as strong as that, though I used to) but I don't like his character. I'm not generally a shabiki of the chess-player, manipulative type of character. He uses every character other than Yuuki as a piece in his plans, and I don't fully buy any claim that he actually cares for anyone else. In particular he treats Zero as if Zero only existed to fit into his plans.

I also think he acts too entitled. He assumes that Yuuki will automatically upendo him and return to him once her memories were returned, and I'm a bit annoyed that proved true. He makes several statements early on in the manga to that extent.

Ok i dont really hate him, i just sometimes hate his actions , in the beginning of the series i actually liked him he seemed to treat yuki well and be very useful to the academy, but episodes later is where i start having 2nd thoughts i started to notice how he is a manipulator and even manipulates yuki. Another reason is because of the way he treats zero you'd think them having mutual feelings for a girl they'd both know he would onyesha some respect but no.. i understand zero hating kaname at first based off his pass trauma of his childhood of Wanyonya damu , this hate started when he bite yuki which it seems to be kaname didnt even care he bite her , he cared zaidi of the fact that he wasnt able to bite her first which kaname himself admitted
