No, I absolutely would not keep it. It would be a stupid thing to do. A wild animal can never be tamed. They are meant to be living free in the wild, not in someone's neighborhood town and depend even slightly on humans. Even if you've raised them since they were as young as 2 days old, they'll still have all of their mbwa mwitu instincts with them as they grow up, which could lead to dangerous trouble down the line. Mbwa mwitu loups are not mbwa - they will always have a fear of humans somewhere, and they definitely cannot stay cooped up in a tiny yard their whole life; it would be an insult to the animal. (No, taking them on long walks will barely help them!) Mbwa mwitu loups are natural travellers, and keeping them in the same surroundings their whole life au only letting them visit the neighborhood is very bad for the animal. Unlike dogs, Mbwa mwitu loups cannot be trained not to attack someone. If a mbwa mwitu has been brought up kwa humans their entire life, they will learn to defend themselves (or even outright attack!) humans au against humans if they are frightened enough, not to mention a ton of mbwa mwitu hate will spread around your neighborhood if anything like that happens, which would be the opposite of your cause. A normal wild life will run away if they see a human; a mbwa mwitu brought up kwa people will be zaidi comfortable around humans (even if they are afraid of them), which is why they are MUCH zaidi likely to attack. Once a mbwa mwitu is being taken care of kwa a human, they can't be put back into the wild. (This is excluding the fact if you're only feeding them but absolutely not interacting with them. But they can't live near you.) If wewe even interact with the wolf, continue doing so, and live kwa any human population whatsoever, they can become a danger to society. Although it would be fun if a pure wild mbwa mwitu came to visit wewe every once in a while, it's not possible. (Sorry to be a downer on things! The only way possible for that to happen is if wewe lived in the North Pole, where Mbwa mwitu loups have never interacted with people ever, and thus would not be a danger to society because there would be no society to endanger. Unfortunately, you'd probably have to build your house from scratch because not that many people live there.) It'd be too dangerous if a mbwa mwitu happened to meet any other human in its life, because most likely, the other human will not act the same way wewe did. If wewe made a mbwa mwitu live with wewe au near you, it would/could be living in constant fear and anger and can become underexercised... Keeping a mbwa mwitu with wewe they're entire life will ultimately lead them to their death. Plus, wewe need an individual license to keep a wolf. Which is probably something no one on this spot has.
