Am I the only one who is reminded of Cable and Deadpool when I see Enjolras and Grantaire?

I've been on a Les Miserables kick and I was thinking how Enjolras (my inayopendelewa Les Mis character) and Grantaire (number 2 on my list) have a relationship a lot like Nate and Wade's.

Enjolras is the leader of the Marafiki of the ABC, a group of freedom fighters, who is single-minded and willing to risk all in the fight for freedom. He also doesn't think much of Grantaire.

Grantaire is a drunk who is cynical and believes in nothing and is all in all the opposite of Enjolras. Yet for some reason they share a strange yet touching bond.

That's not even mentioning the scary amount of pornographic fan-fiction written for both pairs (curse wewe Internet!) I don't know maybe I'm full of it. What do wewe think?

Of course wewe can make the arguement that Nate is Jean ValJean and Hope is Jean's adopted daughter with a dead mother Cosette and Bishop is Javert the ruthless cop who will stop at nothing to catch Jean. But I think that Nate is zaidi like Enjolras especially a younger Nate. Also Hope is nothing like Cosette. Bishop is like Javert though. Speaking of Javert his name sounds a lot like the name of Stryfe's nanny Ch'vayre. Okay stream of conciousness rant over.

Sometimes I think I force them to happen because I upendo relating my inayopendelewa characters to each other.
