falcon, kozi looked over at Becca. She was sitting in a corner, calmly looking around. After he signed off his computer, he came to sit in front of her. She looked at him, a small smile on her face.
“You're a lot like my boyfriend was,” she commented.
“Who was he?”
“Robin, protege of the Dark Knight.”
“Wow. Why'd he give wewe up? Run out of upendo au something?”
“Father hates my guts. But I should've known. I'm not good enough for anyone.”
“Ouch! You're pretty harsh on yourself.”
“I have to be. au I never see the way things are supposed to be seen.”
“What do wewe mean?”
“I mean, if I were to condone my actions, I would think I'm the best choice for him. But I see that there are tons of other girls who would be better than me.”
“I'm sure that's not true. wewe are the best girl I know of! At least, that I can think of! He must upendo wewe a lot if he's denied his father this whole time.”
“You mean three months? I guess.”
“Don't guess. Believe. It's the only thing that keeps us alive.”
“Thank you.”

Becca smiled at him and looked up at the ceiling.
“I feel like wewe opened up a piece of me,” she whispered. “A part I've been hiding.”
“We all need help sometimes, Becca. wewe allowed me to help you. wewe allowed my to heal a part of you. That shows how willing about this situation wewe are.”
“I never thought I could be healed.”
“You can. If wewe let people help you. But wewe know that. What I want to know is why wewe let me heal wewe when wewe don't really know me.”
Becca cupped his cheek with her hand. She stared at him for a dakika before kissing his other cheek. falcon, kozi looked at her, a light blush painting his cheeks.
“I don't have to know wewe to see the good in you,” Becca answered.
Her thumb stroked his cheek as she stared at him. Her other hand touched the edge of his mask and stopped. falcon, kozi stared at her before grabbing her hands. He pulled the mask off, revealing two electric blue eyes. Becca smiled as he leaned in to kiss her.
“I knew it,” she breathed.
