I remember visiting this website once...
It was called ‘Star Trek 3′ Starts Filming in Six Months | Variety
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
“Star Trek 3” is evidently getting ready for takeoff.
According to star Zachary Quinto, filming will begin on the third installment of the rebooted franchise within the next six months.
“I think it’s on the horizon,” Quintowho, who plays Spock in the series, said on “The Today Show.” “Things are rumbling, so I have a feeling that we will be in production sometime in the next six months.”
Quinto had previously said that the movie will most likely revolve around the five-year mission, which is “to to boldly go where no man has gone before.”

“I think the five-year mission will be a part of this next film in some way,” Quinto said in July. “We’re coming up on the 50th anniversary of one of the most iconic sci-fi series in entertainment history so it’s inherently an ongoing story. But I do think that we’ll feel some sense of evolution in these characters that’s been building through the first few films.”
The sequel marks Roberto Orci’s directorial debut. Orci, who co-wrote the first two movies, is helping pen “Star Trek 3,” which hits theaters in 2016.

I hope the third one is better than number 2 regurgitated ,copy of the Wrath of Kahn
I believe there will never be a,great Star Trek based on these two reboots like there will never be a great Mission:Impossible movie. This generation is absolutely clueless!
Star Trek did it right the first time, It does not need this junk, with these two junk writers, directors. and actors.
The reboot STs need to re-shoot the engineering room scenes- they look like they were shot in a beer brewery and look awful!
The first two star trek movies took us where we have never been before. A better understanding of Kirk, Spock and the rest of the crew and their social affairs. The second film gave us a more realistic approach to the villainy of Khan and his group. It also tied in the Dreadnought class of star ships that were mentioned in the original series but never shown. Between these two movies the stage has been set for ventures into a 5 year deep space mission. The characters are in place, the ship is new and ready, and the crew is now seasoned. I have been with star trek since its beginnings….this new timeline breathes life back into the series and creates endless opportunities for new stories. No negative comments here, I enjoy “all” of the Trek movies and series.
Let’s get back to Star Trek type stories. ITD was a fun romp, but we need some story and characters. Maybe something like a social commentary? Like the original?
Then you really are geek who would watch any Trek show, no matter how bad it is.Bleech.
Reblogged this on Geeking Out…At Night! and commented:
Hopefully this movie will be better than Into Darkness.
