I'm currently in NJ, in my hometown visiting my family. I went to NYC yesterday and may be pursuing a 3 mwezi marketing course in queens (I have a bachelor's degree in english). I am also seeing the spongebob musical on Sunday lmao. I am working on planning a cruise with my brothers to the Bahamas, and counting down to my Paris trip. It's been a good 2018 so far. One of the only good Marafiki I've had irl (I tend to make closer friendships online) is leaving our store soon to become an asst manager at another soon. I already miss him! It might be thanks in part to Belle mwezi but I'm really starting to get where she's coming from. It really hurts to not have a non familial person who supports and respects you. Otherwise I guess I'm fine. So far 2018 isn't awful like the last 2 years so I'm optimistic. I need to get my own place closer to town, which I'm happy about. Tonight I start my first night back at Walmart. On a totally bila mpangilio note pertaining to what's going on in my life, get a cool mist humidifier for your room. Trust me, just do it. au an air purifier. Works wonders. And as it turns out, we get to stay where we are. Oh we're still gonna work towards getting an apartment and saving our tax returns for it. I'm a firm believer that if wewe can give until wewe have nothing left, wewe should. Yes, take care of yourself. Make sure you're taken care of. But if wewe walk past someone homeless, give. Who cares if they spend it on drugs au alcohol. That is their choice. Don't refuse because wewe have doubts. If wewe don't have money to give, give chakula au water. If wewe have time, go to the bank au to the store to give a store gift card. Anything. If all wewe have to give is a smile au kind words, give them. Something so simple could make someone's siku in ways wewe never imagined. Everyone is hurting in some way. Be the light that they might not have seen au felt without you. I've done nothing to be this blessed. Yes, we've had such a stressful week but God takes care of us. I know all too well that I don't deserve His upendo au kindness, but He refuses to let us down au forget us. He wants us to extend that kindness. Guys, wish me luck. I have an interview tonight. I have to get this job. I ilitumwa about this on the Encouraging Words forum. My boyfriend and I are being forced out of our current living situation with our roommates right now. It's a house, but they say because the parents are cosigners on the house, the parents don't want them to have roommates. Ok we've been here since Sept and they've had roommates before us.
