Here's Part 2 of the King and Princess flashback arc. Enjoy.
King's POV
If I wasn't starving right now, I would be blowing chunks right now. I was in the same pack that Humphrey and Kate were leaders of. Thanks to my broken leg, I couldn't make a run for it, so I was stuck there for the time being.
"Oh here they come right now," Cando said.
As if things couldn't get possibly worse, Kate, Humphrey and a brown she-wolf entered the den. The she-wolf had a branch of berries in her mouth as the three of them walked over to me.
Looking at their eyes, I could Kate and Humphrey had a hellish fury in them.
Humphrey growled loudly as he looked as though he'd kill me at any moment, "You tried to kill Runt wewe son of a bitch. What's stopping me from killing your goddamn worthless ass?"
"Honey, please calm down. Even if that asshole deserves it," Kate alisema with a slightly less angry tone. Humphrey seemed to have only calmed down a little bit. Kate looked at the other she-wolf as she spoke to her, "Just feed him the berries Reba."
The mbwa mwitu named Reba walked close to me as she inserted the berries inside my mouth. I couldn't resist as I was too injured to move. Realizing I was still hungry, I swallowed hoping the berries wouldn't poisonous.
Much to my joy, they were just regular berries, but they still tasted like crap. Oddly enough, as the juisi ran down my throat it became less sore.
This feeling continue d until I could again, "What the hell were those berries?"
"They're special berries most Mbwa mwitu loups here take when they receive colds," Reba answered. "The juisi inside them helps soothe the pain inside your throat."
I was relieved to have at least one body part that wasn't in hellish pain. My moments of joy were cut however as Kate and Humphrey began to talk among themselves.
"Should we tell the pups about him being here," Humphrey asked his mate.
"I guess so. They wouldn't be too happy if they found out we hid something huge like this from them. Especially Runt," Kate said.
At that moment I remembered about the pup I sent some of the rogues to capture. I decided to ask what they were going to do with me.
"Well for the time being you'll be kept here under full surveillance 24/7," Humphrey answered.
"Later on we'll ask wewe some important questions, then we'll give wewe a proper punishment," Kate alisema with emphasize on the word punishment.
The two Pack leaders walked out of the pango as they talked to each other about something, but all I could hear was one word kwa Kate, "Princess."
Wait, why did they mentioned my daughter? I'm guessing their son Runt had told them about how Princess comforted him during his time as my hostage.
I was worried as to what they would do to me, but I was even zaidi worried about my daughter. I didn't care if she left me, she's my little Princess.
Exhaustion had hit me again as I decided to sleep for the night. I closed my eyes and went to sleep thinking of my daughter's whereabouts.
Princess' POV
"When can I open my eyes Hutch," I asked my mate.
"Soon Princess. Just wait till I'm done," Hutch alisema as I heard him songesha some things around.
A few dakika later he told me I could open my eyes. When I did, I was amazed at Hutch's renovation of our den. had put some vines on the ukuta and arranged a bunch of flowers in the formation of a heart.
"Oh Hutch it's beautiful," I alisema as me and him kissed.
It had been almost a week since Hutch and I got married. He proposed to me two weeks after I had arrived at the Western Pack.
During the first few days there, I was antisocial. The only mbwa mwitu I really talked to was Runt. He was probably the first and only person I'd consider a friend.
Seeing how lonely I was, Runt introduced me to one of his mother's old friends, Hutch. Me and him went on a tarehe that same siku as we got to each other really well.
He told me about how he grew up with he parents and four siblings. I was a bit hesitant at first about telling Hutch about my life, but I told him nonetheless. At first he pitied me about how my life ending about, but I told him it's fine.
We did some stargazing before we headed back. When we arrived at my den, I told him I had a great time. Before he left, I gave him a kiss on his cheek. I looked as he left with a smile on his face.
During the course of the week, me and Hutch became closer until one siku he proposed to me. I couldn't do anything but accept his marvelous offer. Our wedding siku was the happiest siku of my life. I still remember Hutch's howl that day. It was truly magnificent.
All of Hutch's Marafiki and Runt's family congratulated us on our marriage. They were all happy that I had found someone in my life to be happy with.
Ever since then I've become zaidi and zaidi social with other the wolves. I actually became Marafiki with some Omega she-wolves. They were Sweets, Candy, Reba and Janice. The four omegas were actually the first girlfriends I made in my life. We got along quite well as we talked about a lot of things.
I had to admit, my life has gotten a lot better since I came here. I felt like I was truly happy here.
The feelings of my past had slowly faded away as I continued with my new life.
Me and Hutch went to the corner and talked about our upcoming honeymoon when Kate and Humphrey were at the entrance of our den.
"Hello Kate and Humphrey, what brings wewe two here," I asked them.
They looked at each other before Kate stepped up and said, "Well we have some shocking news for you."
"What do wewe mean kwa that," I asked with confusion.
I was confused as to what Kate meant. What kind of shocking news would relate to me? Unless... oh no.
"We found your father on a kilima in the Western Pack," Humphrey revealed.
"He's in a pango nearby our's," Kate added
At that moment, time seemed to have slow down as I heard the two Pack Leaders say me father was in the Western Pack at this moment. My mouth was left opened as I was dumbfounded kwa this revelation.
After a few minutes, I finally spoke to the two, "Is he alive?"
"He's alive. Do wewe want to see him," Humphrey asked.
"No," I shouted but then calmed down. "I'm fine."
I walked back to Hutch as I laid down on the ground.
"Umm ok. I guess we'll be leaving now," Kate alisema awkwardly as she and Humphrey left the den.
Hutch looked at me with heavy concern. "I'm alright Hutch," I told him with a forced smile. "Let's go to sleep."
I closed my eyes as I went to sleep. Why did he have to be there? I'm not going to speak with that heartless monster. I never should have loved him.
