A&O 6: Dino Digs Thoughts & Opinions + Rant (SPOILER ALERT!)

So, here it goes.

1. The idea of them moving was just... dumb to me. They are wolves, the PREDATORS, not the prey. Tough it out. There are rogues, yes. But they are worries about the pups getting hurt au stolen again. THEY SHOULDN'T BE PUPS ANYMORE!!! The average mbwa mwitu is fully mature within 8-14 months, NOT 4-5 years!

2. The fact that the Mbwa mwitu loups have a understanding of most things human is creepy... they can drive, know what tech is, they know how to drive, they know what 'cola' is... what??? Just... no. They shouldn't even know what tech IS. Even if they did, they should have their own word for it, maybe something like 'human-stuff' au something that would make them understand it more.

3. THE MOVEMENTS WERE HORRIBLE. Amy wouldn't have been able to do that spin-out thing... she's too big. It also looked like hujambo had her model stationary while at the same time used some cheapo affect to make her model LOOK like she was spinning around... I honestly could animate better MC animations using a free Minecraft animating program...

4. The whole thing with the fake lake and them dancing to it involuntarily is just... awkward and makes me cringe. The effects are just... odd... and the lighting is also weird. Marcel and Patty used to be (in my opinion) the only characters (other than Lilly and Garth) who weren't made to look like total idiots. But now... ugh? SHould I even be mad? They were coming out with a good movie and then in a mwezi came out with a movie that was 45 dakika long that took about a mwezi to make...

5. The muziki was OKAY. I liked the old sound-track better though. It wasn't bad, it just didn't fit for me.

6. The moose shouldn't intimidate Humphrey like that... he's a wolf, if anything, the moose should be absolutely terrified of him, omega, alpha, beta, whatever.

7. The animating in general was just... lazy and/or just flat out had barely any effort. Like I said, I can make a better animated MC video in a week. They took a whole mwezi on this (or maybe even more) and they have entire teams working on it. I'm just one guy. Granted, my video would be shorter, but at least I put effort into mine, au at leash onyesha it. I feel like Lionsgate, Splash, etc. are all just trying to get all of its mashabiki to get 'unattached' from the movie because they get made fun of for the franchise constantly. So if the fan-base gets disappointed enough, they'll leave and they won't have to keep making movies. Might be another reason for making them so fast; if they make enough, they won't have to make zaidi since MOST franchises only last for 6-8 movies.

8. A REALTOR??? Since when do Mbwa mwitu loups have those? I know this is technically a kids' movies, but even most kids won't understand what a realtor is. Even if the Mbwa mwitu loups DID move, they should just permanently migrate kwa themselves, they don't need a realtor. They also wouldn't (most likely) songesha BACK to their old home.

9. WHAT THE HELL LIONSGATE/SPLASH?? WHY? Please, just save up a budget, work on a movie for a while, put some effort into it, and make sure the mashabiki have a good rating for it before it is released. IDC if wewe spend 2 years on the movie, and then wewe release a version for fan-critique purposes, and then the mashabiki hate it and wewe are forced to re-do the ENTIRE thing. Give us a better movie! wewe complain that anti-A&O people hate on the movie and your company, I wonder why! EFFORT AND TIME!!!

10. How did Amy even know what was happening after she came back to life? You'd think that when she came back to life, she'd be freaking out and she'd be confused kwa what happened, where she was, etc. But yet, she came back, and INSTANTLY knew what had happened. She wasn't even the slightest bit phased kwa the fact that her kind (in the modern era) was extinct, that she was millions of years old and had somehow just kwa being dug up came back to life, etc. How in the world did she know she was 65 million years dead? It made no sense...

(I will add anything later that I missed, and if wewe want your opinion on here, just let me know in the maoni and I will put it in here. FYI, I don't personally midn the magic stuff. I just think that some of the OTHER logic is worse than the magic logic is.)

Well while I can't judge wewe for disliking something, I do however think it's arguable to argue the arguments on here under the "need work" argument.

I can understand that while they are anthropomorphic (Which IS an excuse similar to a Pixar movie) it could be kinda odd for them to suddenly know far away human stuff all of a sudden, BUT since they are anthro, they can learn about them (E.g. Birds teaching them what this is and that) in the same way a maarufu Pixar movie with a character did.
I think them knowing words can be possible, past films (popular films too) did this too, and even that same Pixar movie, Ratatouille.
They could probably hear humans say the words, though cola is too specific that they probably should of shown how they learn that au avoid that word on the movie?

Please also note that this isn't a Bambi like film, it's zaidi like Disney with the other stuff. Especially the movie Ratatouille. Sadly that's the only best film I can think of.....

I mean, I think a realistic argument can be made for this one as many other things in movement and laws were used before...

In the past movies, nearly all wanyama were friends. I don't think they take that part that seriously. Even the first movie was like that.

Well, Mbwa mwitu loups can't sled, stand, golf, play games, have Christmas, dance, talk zaidi than 250 words while humans can, grab many things like humans, etc. But since they are anthro (I suggest looking up 'anthropomorphic' on Wikipedia and some other stuff like some films), a lot of these Mbwa mwitu loups can have personality and may have similar human stuff. They didn't go that far kwa just inaonyesha a house, they showed a cave. lol - It's possible Kate and Humphrey needed help looking for a salama place.

I don't know if that's their purpose. And some mashabiki are different.
As for Alpha and Omega haters. It's only their own fault. They just hate things cool and they could learn to ignore it.

I hope I'm not fighting. I just wanted to bring out a few points.
wewe used the word 'Effort and Time' though, so is (for example) telling that they shouldn't have a Realtor, they should just find a cave kwa themselves a change instead of adding?

Though I shouldn't say something can be flawless out of biased, but I liked the Realtor part, it was kinda funny (But I don't understand how the cave was fake) and original, and honestly my inayopendelewa parts of the film was all the Kate au Humphrey moments, even careless about the dinosaurs.. but there is one part I found really nice.
What was really emotional (not that much but still) was the welcome, and the hug, I thought that was nice.

Oh and for me, from what I alisema earlier, I've made a mistake. I actually watched zaidi parts and there was some zaidi explanation for the dinosaur, though I don't know if it's enough..

Again, I understand wewe don't like some parts and I respect that, though some mashabiki liked it (at least me). I was only debating the 'needs work' claim. :)

The rats in the film was portrayed as wild like animals, but the rat was able to learn words, just like how the wolves can learn words (even in first movies) so I thought it was fair to compare since they had the same style. If I could remember, some of them uses a terrible word call "wolfaboo" just because it wasn't a boring Bambi like movie or something. (Bambi was probably fine as it was though). It's just wolves finding another wolf with a different background history, it seem to fit to me, but oh well.. Hmm, did they actually explain it was? If so, that would make a lot of sense. XD I have to be honest, I don't think I've listen to everything in the movie. If I missed, it's only my fault for that! And ah, alright. So I think here, it's like with everything else, in some parts of the movies people like other parts, others prefer a different set, etc. But I do think it wouldn't be fair to change something for what it is to something they didn't want, it would not only (possibly) damage creativity, but it would upset other fans too. I'm the kinda guy who likes 'more', more is more, etc. Though if I had to pick what they shouldn't do.. I do think this whole movie with dinosaurs seemed less focus on wolves, and far less on 'Alpha' and 'Omega'. Hopefully the sixth will be better for that. :) EDIT: I mean seventh..

HumphreyWolfMan Well, I still don't think it's fair to judge an intention since those are only effort, not lack of effort. But of course, I'm not trying to convince anyone who already dislikes it to like it. Just the usual "criticism argument" thing.

HumphreyWolfMan Effort: "a vigorous or determined attempt." Example: I tried my effort to promote more customers. So honestly, the movie had some effort as an effort is an intention attempt of something. :|. So improving effort is to take the attempt, and making it even better. XD If the story made sense for what it is, then that's effort. If there was plotholes, and/or lack of writing, that's less effort. I'm not saying it's perfect.. I only bring out what, lacked, and not made sense with basic laws of physics and maybe more.

QuietWind They weren't determined, they were lazy about it. They weren't vigorous, either. I KNOW what effort means/is... I'm just saying that IMO, this movie has like 5% effort.It made sense but that doesn't mean there's is effort. I can make the worst story in the world and still have it make sense. They didn't put much thought into it. Hell, I'm one person and could make a more detailed plot than what that movie has.

HumphreyWolfMan I don't know about the two but here is another example of effort: "the result of an attempt.". Found on Google. Even lifting a hand counts as an effort. XD The whole movie had attempts all over it.. I know some plots need some explanation, like more info on dinosaurs, how the puppies was able to know how to turn the key, the log being so light for Humphrey, some bits of story a little weak, and maybe more. But despite the important part (lack of info on dinosaurs), the smaller stuff was so little, and everything else in the movie were attempts and trying, which had results.. The thing I would like to say though, is that just because someone doesn't like a main attempt/result, doesn't necessary mean it's no longer that. I can agree the movie could be even more effort than it is now, but it seems odd to say it's only 5% effort learning from basic meanings of the words. I don't expect an agreement anymore much.. I just thought I wanted to help teach what it means..

QuietWind Yes, but what I am saying is that they were VERY LAZY. I think you are taking the definition wrong. They were attempts, but IMO, failed attempts and/or bad attempts. I say 5% as IMO. I believe they can ramp up the amount of 'effort' and non-laziness by a long-shot. I KNOW what effort means, I told you that. I'm a part-time professional author and considered a grammar and literature prodigy where I am.

HumphreyWolfMan You might think you know but when I research it, I get different results. Yes, people can be lazy while attempting, but it's still an effort while attempting at least.. BUT it's possible you can add effort to it similar to what you said. So maybe I'm sort of agreeing.. though it feels like 49%. The part where they were walking to a new home (later intro), the dinosaurs running in the intro, the asteroid, Humphrey golfing, etc. were intended, and while they were intended, I didn't see any errors for what they were. We have dancing (I didn't even like it) but no errors were found? So it sounds like it's more than 5% and as a A&O sequel quality. XD

QuietWind I DO know... like I said, I'm pretty sure you are taking what it means out of context. YES, they ATTEMPTED, but did they try very hard while doing so? NO. ANOTHER definition of effort is(if you looked it up like you said...) is 'a strenuous physical or mental exertion'. Which I see none of in this movie. I remember some errors in those. When they walk, it almost looks like they are sliding their paws across the ground as they do so. The dancing just doesn't fit and some just looks stupid. HumphreyWolfMan "exertion" is basically the same as 'trying'. I don't know about you, but to me it would be very hard to animate, model, etc. like this. If I model, and animate that far, it would of been so much hard work already. I know I could of made it better, but it was still effort so far as to do this. It requires mental thinking, physical exercise, etc. to have what we had so far. Also I think the sequels are "lazy", the first movie has far better and smoother animation.. so doesn't that mean all sequels are 0%? Huh.. you noticed that too (Paw sliding walking)? I have a fan fiction world idea where it involves a lot of magic, you may not like it (That's OK) but calling it lazy only because it's not your thing (assumption) would not be fair.. -- Well, No effort means zero percent effort.. And I just wanted to try to argue the meaning of that. You may not agree with this, so I guess I'll stop trying on here for now. :/

Most children's movies aren't like this, they are well made and have TONS of effort, time, etc. put into them. Who said I'd call it lazy? You are not understanding what I am saying at all. It's lazy because they put a month into something that should take at LEAST six to eight months. I'm calling it lazy because to me, the plot and script are all over the place. I never said I didn't like it & called it lazy because it 'wasn't my thing', so where'd you get THAT impression?? I never said as "fact" that you said it would be lazy (for my FF idea), that's why I put down "(assumption)" I think. Plot and script all over the place? Isn't that's kinda the point? Or maybe you mean something else... "figurative language" Maybe, but I don't think the idea of "no effort" secretly meaning less of it's meaning counted as a "figurative language.". It just sounds as it said to me.. Perhaps "little effort" would of made more sense?

Anything can be fifurative language (in the sense that I said it at least) as long as you don't ACTUALLY mean in a literal way what you said. 'Little effort' would be literal, bevcause it LITERALLY had 'little' effort (IMO). In this situation, saying 'little effort' would be literal and saying 'no effort' would be a hyberbole, or an 'exaggeration'.

Wolf_Tamer Derick, use counter! 1. I'm pretty damn sure if you were to see a dinosaur in real life, you'd be scared hands down. As for the age, have you ever seen Ash from Pokémon get older after 20 years? How about SpongeBob SquarePants? Does he look 20 years old? Aside from that, the movies could take place in an out-of-order style opposing the numbers counting the sequels. (i.e. The second could take place after the fourth.) 2. They have human characteristics using a technique called "personification." And, if I'm correct, most of you did, in fact, want their human-like qualities to return. 3. Amy wasn't able to do the spin-out. 4. Creativity and, once again, personification. 5. At least the movie actually received new scores (music). 6. Are you kidding me? Maybe he couldhave taken on one moose but two? That's just crazt 7. The animation was a step up from having a lot of glitches. 8. A third time, don't be a hypocrite. Almost everyone wanted personification to return. And adding a realtor could have been better than other things they could've potentially added. 9. Series with fan services DO NOT end up well. But I partially agree: patience is rewarded, arrogance is punished. They could have spent a little more time. 10. She might have known because she saw the meteors hit the Earth, and, seeing as she woke up at random, could have put two and two together and figured if she woke up, so would the T-Rex. But, hey, that's just an opinion that I came up with using logic and experience in this club.
