The air was crisp, and the night had grown old when Humphrey came to. He didn’t remember much about what had happened, but as the moments passed, he slowly began to remember. The walk, the humans, the cages, and the trucks. Rolling down the kilima and crashing into the tree. And Kenya. He was worried for Kenya. His body ached and he had a cut on his thigh from the metal bars of the cage.

The truck began its drive back to the human settlement with Humphrey and Kenya trapped in the back; scared, alone, and fearing for their lives. After it left the clearing, the truck turned onto an uneven dirt road with an embankment on one side that steadily led down into the forest. Humphrey looked over to the other cage, where his sister was sobbing uncontrollably. He was extremely frightened, too and he was worried about his parents. But then he remembered what they had told him when Kenya was born.

Humphrey - 22
it’s obvious that he is young
Kate - 20
it think she is younger than Humphrey because when they are kids she sounds less mature
Lilly - 18
Lilly is defiantly a few years younger than Kate
Garth - 20
due to an arranged marriage I would guess Garth is the same age as Kate.
Marcel - 47
I would assume Marcel is middle aged
Paddy - 40
Paddy is also probably middle aged
Winston - 54
Winston is Kate and Lilly’s father so he would have to be at least 40.
Tony - 64
Tony is Garth father so would also have to be at least 40, however he seems to have back problems something that old people get a lot
Eve - 47
Yet again Eve would have to be at least 40, but I think she’s probably slightly younger than Winston.

Kate got up to get a drink, she was very tried from giving birth a few hours zamani . Before she did she looked at her family . Kate smiled at the three pups she had .
