a hawt, tall, funny, kind, handsome, mysterious, powerful, strong, umm what else oh!!! respectful (if he must only towards me, wouldn't care about how he treats others :P)....one that isn't afraid of anything, an Immortal (we wouldn't want them to die would we now).....thats all I can think about right now

Looks-wise, I -- for some strange reason -- upendo anime guys with ponytails (long one's, like Renji's, but sometimes short, like Koga's). LOL they remind me of samurai~ And I always upendo samurai characters. Also, when their ponytail gets undone.... >///< major nosebleed!!!
Personality-wise, even if they don't have a ponytail, I always fall for anime guys with epic, badass skills in fighting/playing guitar/or just in general; but at the same time, they're actually really nice and upendo their friends. Sorta like a tsundere, but for boys haha. I guess that kinda falls under ths samurai-code thing too, cuz they're hardcore, but they follow honour and respect their teammates. Also, even prince-characters like Tamaki Suou are like that, he's pretty badass when he needs to be.
But, besides samurai-charas (btw, Kairi from Shugo Chara doesn't count... =.=') I've been known to instantly fall for characters that box and are awesome at it (but no Hajime no Ippo, the art just doesn't work for me) their personalities usually fall under my guy-tsundere trait too. Like Ryohei (KHR) and Takeda (SSDK/HSDK).

I upendo guys with a cute face. That's the first thing I look for. I also pay very much attention to the eyes of a character, so if I think someone has nice eyes, I'll usually like them. Other than aesthetic of a character, in personality I'm pretty picky. I like male characters who either have a sweet personality and are a form of comic relief as well as a key role in the story , but I also like characters who look cute but have not-so-adorable personalities.

As for examples of the ones I like, well I have a long orodha *pulls out THE MASTER anime FAV LIST!*, long as in 32 characters plus explaination of my fangirlism. But I can give wewe my juu 3, who are:
