People don't always get who they want in life, and I know that first hand. So I think that Zutara, not only displays a good life lesson for kids that sometimes the hero doesn't always get everything he wants, but also has an extra, great twist for the show. Get this: Who would have ever THOUGHT that after Katara's mother was murdered kwa a moto nation soldier, that after she was at war with the moto nation, that an enemy would EVER be the one she would fall for???? Wouldn't it be such a great twist? Not only for her to end up with just ANY moto Nation person, but the actual Firelord?! Firelord Zuko?! If she did end up with him, this would onyesha that she got over her conflicts with the moto nation enough to upendo this man, to see through his nationality and see true self and his true, beautiful personality on the inside. And on Zuko's side, who would have ever THOUGHT that he would EVER upendo a water tribe peasant, him growing up with lots of money and power?!?!?! I could go on FOREVER with this, but wewe see my point hoepfully. GO ZUTARA!!! And, please, Kataangers, nothing against ya, but don't bash me, because it's I always find some way to argue with a point with something I'm passionate about, like Zutara. Peace to everyone!!!!!

Girls just don't do that? Honestly, I'd go for Aang before Zuko. I never saw the two in a brother-sisterly light, but that's a personal interpretation of course. I know this is nit-picky, but not all girls are the same...some may go for people that are like their brothers. But that's besides the point in this debate. How is Kataang sending kids a bad message? Zutara is zaidi of a bad message (ya know, going for the bad boy). Bad boys aren't exactly the kind to bring nyumbani to mum. If your problem lies in the fact that 'you don't always end up with who wewe want to' if Katara ended up with Zuko she'd still be with who she wanted, so I don't quite get where the problem lies here. And Aang did not get everything he wanted either. I actually think that Katara ending up with a firebender would be a classic cliche' (e.i. the starcrossed lovers/opposites attract). So it would have been thought of. Same goes for 'poor girl/boy gets rich boy/girl' it's been done. But honestly, what hasn't been done before. No offense intended here, just chakula for thought.

Zutara. no 14 mwaka old girl would fall for a 12 mwaka old boy. Espically if he's shorter then her. Sure he might be the Avatar but i've seen the whole seris and the only reason Zuko and Katara haven't gotten together was because Zuko was only cool with Katara for like the past 5 episodes and Mai is not Zuko's type. Zuko is not emo like Mai.

I don't really have a reason to support Zutara. Zuko and Katara don't really onyesha any signs of liking each other in that way.

I will admit that if Zutara happened it would've been interesting but I knew from the very beginning that Aang and Katara were going to get together. It's the couple that's actually developed. I don't see any development between Katara and Zuko that would indicate a romance.
