HOW DID MOMO SURVIVED?????

How did Momo survived if Firelord Sozin wiped out ALL of the Air Nomads INCLUDING the wanyama and plants and stuff???? There MUST have been ANOTHER air temple au sumthing????

The sky bison are linked to monks. Remember they had to "choose wisely because they are companions for life." They have a special bond and would have died with the monks like when Avatar Roku and his dragon died together. As for the lemurs, they probably slowly went extinct with no temple to support them and Momo is the last of his kind.
