The Last Airbender is a 2010 action film that was based on a beloved onyesha of the same name. The film got really bad reviews, but I actually really liked the film.

I only saw clips of the animated onyesha before watching the live action film so I'm judging this film kwa itself instead of comparing it to the show. I still haven't watched any full episodes, but I did enough research to understand the plot and characters.

The film focuses on Aang who's the avatar. He's discovered kwa a duo of siblings, Katara and Sokka, who become his friends. It's up to them to save the world from the evil moto Nation. Zuko, the son of the moto Lord, and Zhao, the moto Lord's sekunde in command, are up to no good.

The film has been mocked for combining the whole first season of the onyesha into one film. I personally thought this risky decision paid off well. The film was filled with exciting storylines and action scenes. Aang, Katara, Sokka, and the antagonists each get a subplot and all of them are interesting.

There's a lot of compelling characters in the film. Aang, Katara, and Sokka are all likeable and fascinating Heroes and the villains are epic and threatening. Aang and Katara have a strong friendship in the film that was nice to see. Zuko was a well written and sympathetic villain which balanced well with the zaidi cruel Zhao. Zuko and his uncle have a nice bond and their family relationship is emotional. From what I've heard about the onyesha the moto Lord barely appears in the onyesha which is a unforunate problem that happens in shows and films where the "main" villain has his children and sidekicks do everything for him. Although the moto Lord is pretty lazy in the film he has a fair amount of screentime which was a nice surprise. Azula has an awesome cameo that makes me wish that the film got a sequel.

Argubaly the film's biggest standout quality is the visuals. There are very few live action scenes as impressive looking as this film. The scenes of Aang practicing fight moves are visually impressive. The special effects of Katara's water powers look amazing! I was blown away kwa the fantastic sets and awesome action scenes. Although I miss and upendo Roger Ebert I disagree with him about the film's visuals. It was a wonderful treat to look at the film.

I can understand why mashabiki don't like the film. From what I've heard about the onyesha it sounds like the film doesn't represent it very well. However this film shouldn't be mocked just because it doesn't resemble the show. The film has a compelling plot, interesting characters, and some of the best visuals ever put to film. I recommend this underrated masterpiece.

Authors Note: Hello all! I haven't written an Azula piece in awhile. This is another imagining of her POV after her Agni Kai loss to Zuko and Katara. It's formatted as a letter to her mother from the mental facility. Enjoy!

Dear Mother,

I know wewe will burn this letter, and I know I've become an even larger disgrace to wewe than before, but I am lost. I know not what will become of me au my legacy. The legacy that was stolen from me. And the legacy I was weak enough to lose. "Such a spoiled princess.", the servants would say, "And such a lonely soul." I've caused many peolle so much pain and so...

At the end of Sozin's comet part 4, when Zuko asked Ozai "Where's my mother", I knew he would not have an immediate answer. This eluded to a possible continuation of the series, au at least another show....but this was not to be. Happily, Dark Horse had picked up the reins and led us onto the further adventures of our inayopendelewa gaang. After years of wondering and waiting, we are finally able to embark on yet another life-changing field trip with Zuko-actually it's Azula's turn-to quell that swali that has burned in our minds for so long.
amid the back story and our troop's various distractions,...

Name: Mizuki

Age: 15

Personality: Mizuki is a sweet, soft moyo person. She hates to upset people au make them mad. She talks very proper most of the time. Most guys she meets around her age, say she is very pretty, but being very modest Mizuki just blushes, smiles a bit and says "Thank you." She rarely gets angry. But she does get sad occasionally. She almost always cheery. She basically like Himegi from Baka and Test, au like Miyuki from Lucky Star.

Origin: The Air Nomads

Bender: Mizuki is one of the only benders of Air

Bio: TLA-Mizuki was an only child. She wasnt really a spoiled child either....

Hey, everyone! Here's a new fanfiction for you!

"Katara?" Aang asked.
"Yes, Aang?" she asked sweetly, smiling at the boy she loved so much. If only he knew that...
Aang could have sworn he felt his moyo melt. "I...I have something to say to you...a-and if wewe don't think the same way...can we still be friends?" he asked.
"Of course, but...what is it?" Katara asked.
Aang gulped. Oh, Spirits, why does this have to be so hard? he thought. "I...I really, really...
