As wewe all may know, Mattel fired Kelly Sheridan. This has made tons of people mad and protest. Kelly recently ilitumwa this statement on her Facebook page:

"I'm hearing very interesting things from the powers that be. There is some reconsidering going on. mashabiki are making their opinions known. Kind of amazing."

Will they re-hire Kelly? Will they reconsider the 'modern' movies? What are your opinions?

I think that Mattel should listen to their fans. We have, for a while now, been protesting the new voice and the modern stuff. I personally don't like this 'new image' they have been going for. If I wanted that kind of stuff, I'd go watch, play, and collect Bratz.

MariposaPhoenix Yes! *fist pump* Sorry. This just made me very happy. I love Kelly, her voice is just PERFECT for Barbie. I can't picture Diana as her and I'm very happy Mattel is actually using their head for once.

Rainbow_Harmony I think she meant that she had heard rumours from Mattel that they were re-considering their decision due to the number of complaints they had received. :) A Fairy Secret will have been recorded a looooooong while ago now though, so Kelly won't be in the next one (the voices for these movies are usually recorded about a year before they are actually released as they obviously have to be animated/edited etc. after the voice acting process). But I am keeping my hopes up for future Barbie movies. :D Keep signing the petition - http://www.petitiononline.com/kellybar/petition.html - and spreading the word! <3

sapphirez I just felt awkward every time Barbie in Barbie In A Fashion Fairytale speaks. The voice before is full of emotion and not-too-high, not-too-low pitch. It's not that I hate the new VA but I prefer Kelly. BRING BACK KELLY SHERIDAN!! Why did they fire her again?

Broken

Antonio waited,
And waited,
But she did not come.
The note he’d left was now gone.

Stolen kwa a jealous friend,
Ro was hers,
That wouldn’t end.

A broken heart,
A tear was shed,
He dropped the rose he had in hand.

“She didn’t come,”
The thought was sad.
His moyo grew heavier with every step.
He let out a shaky breath.

Feeling broken,
Weary,
And sick.
His stomach heaved,
The nausea rolled in.

After this he had enough.
He slammed the door,
His voice was rough,
“Leave me alone!”
Was his demand.

Don’t wewe remember exploring the ship?
