Why do I get stared at so much kwa the way I dress?

Idk.... if I saw someone dressed like that I'd have to look also. People just don't see dress like that everyday. People might even think you're a... *GASP* weeaboo. And/or hungry for attention. (Massive head-bows? really?)

If that's your style...and wewe want to dress that way, fine....more power to ya... but wewe need to be able to handle the criticism that goes along with it. People are judgmental, and dressing like that probably doesn't make a best first impression. I'm just being honest.

wewe shouldn't worry about others cause your trying to express yourself and trying to make your own style.don't worry about what others think because its your life.

Don't take it as a negative thing, sometimes when people are looking at wewe it's probably cuz they like what you're wearing. Well, that's usually what I think when I look at someone's outfit.

I remember one girl had a victorian style dress, but she had a modern gothic edge to it, she really suited it.

Just remember it's not a bad thing to turn a few heads.

I think it's cool wewe dress like that :) it's unique, one of a kind. Don't care what others think there probably jealous that wewe have the confidence to dress that way.

Dressing how wewe want is fine just as long as wewe don't dress like your homeless au a slut.

It depends on how they stare. If wewe dress the way wewe described, it is only to be expected that people will look at you, simply because they see something out of ordinary. It doesn't necesserily mean that they will stare in a negative and/or judgemental way. It is natural that in a group of, say, 20 people dressed in jeans and t-shirts a person dressed in an 'anime way' will stand out.
So yes, if wewe do not want to attract attention wewe should dress in a zaidi typical way. wewe are the only person who can say whether this attraction bothers wewe au not. If it doesn't, keep on dressing the way wewe do. :) If it does, well, there is another question: Do people just stare au do wewe notice their negative attitude as well? I'm afraid that there's nothing wewe can do about those who do not accept individuality and want everyone to dress all the same, apart from ... ignoring them.

I think wewe probably have zaidi confidence than wewe think. It takes guts to stand out. Last mwaka my daughter had the same problem at her old school. She's artistic and designs her own clothes, au she likes to wear dresses from the '40s. Other people stared au commented, usually negatively. When she tried to dress zaidi "normal", she then got flack for trying to fit in. Ultimately she decided that it's worthless to please others, so she dresses how she likes. Don't let other people get to you. You're young--enjoy it.
